- This rock-solid workbench is made from some reclaimed wood I was able to source locally. While this workbench weighs an absolute ton, it is rigid and loaded with functionality to help change the way I do work in the shop. In this video I walk through the process of how to make this bench and even provide a few vairations of how it can be used to hold work pieces. There are also build plans available if you're wanting to build one of these yourself.

Nice solid table, should last for generations.
Thanks Dr. Ping 😄
🤩 Reclaimed wood 🤩 Love the sustainability of this project!
Thanks Julie! These Timbers were great quality wood that just needed a little bit of work to reach their full potential. 😃
Love it. Great wood find ! 😊
Thanks Craig 😃
That is one sweet bench! Great job on the build and fine craftsmanship. Also, I was quite impressed with how your video production has improved. You really outdid yourself on this one!
Thanks Logan! I am really working to improve the video quality. Maybe one day I can be a good RUclipsr like you 😄
@@EigenDesigns but once you catch up to me I’ll still be one step ahead of you once again….but it’s worth a try
@@DudeSawdust I accepted a long time ago that the path to RUclips success will be filled with your footprints.
Turned out great, Mark!
Thanks JP! This was a really fun build.
Great job! Great craftsmanship!!!
Thanks Jim!
Very nice, heirloom quality!
Thanks Grizz Craft Customs! I hope this serves me well in the years to come.
Great looking build there sir. Your shop is looking good as you progress in your ventures. Thanks for sharing. John.
Thanks John, I appreciate your support 😄
How did you find out about that lumber. There’s a couple shipping ports close by and I’d like to see if I could get any lumber from them
One of the guys in our local Facebook woodworking group worked down there and shared that information with the broader group.
What are you using for your hand drill press?
Being a new woodworker, I learned a lot of new techniques from this build. What I do want to ask is what is the drill press type device you use in conjunction with your drill? Thanks
Hey Jon, I bought the drill guide from WoodPeckers. It's top notch in terms of quality and has allowed me to drill perfectly straight holes anywhere in my shop. This is the one I use in the video: amzn.to/3UUTTAg
@@EigenDesignsthank you!
hi
Hello there! 😃
you could not add the sizes of the wood you are using, what a shame!
Maybe I can help - what sizes are you after? The rough lumber or the surfaced lumber?
Nice
