      This is two surface cleaners i made out of spare parts from a mosmatic and a watertek one

    funny looking trigger set up on the FSC Ricky, whats happened to it ?

    • @Bournemouthjetwashing
      @Bournemouthjetwashing  Месяц назад +2

      Indeed it is i made this machine up from parts from a mosmatic and watertek, As the normal surface cleaners use 1/8 or 3/8 hose im made mine that is 1/2 inch this is very powerfull and makes block paving driveways easy to clean. i did use the mosmatic pan but when the machine was on full the pan took off and could not control it due to the power, so ive used a watertek pan which is much heavair and works very well indeed

    Ricky, Do you charge by the m2 or by how dirty the job is ?

    • @Bournemouthjetwashing
      @Bournemouthjetwashing  Месяц назад

      A few factors determine the price of the job , drainage , tap pressure etc . I charge by the job

    It looks like you changed the hose connection to the surface cleaner. Why?

    • @Bournemouthjetwashing
      @Bournemouthjetwashing  Месяц назад +1

      Indeed i did iv made a new surface cleaner from a mosmatic and a watertek , the reason is i run two unloaders and switch between the two normally i use the 3/8 unloader for small works like patios etc , but if i have a big block paving job i switch over to 1/2 inch , so iv made a 1/2 inch direct connction to the head of the suface cleaner , thus giving me much more power and flow as oppsed to running through the 3/8, when i first made it and tested it it had the mosmatic pan on but was so powerfull on full the pan took off and was impossible to control , of course i could of changed the nozzles but the solution was to change over to a heavy pan so i used the watertek one. This makes very light work of cleaning block paved drives and gets all the weeds out without a problem at 30lpm or 41lpm depend on what machine i use

    Recently passed an old couple I know in their front garden discussing cleaning their drive, I offered to do it for them as the guy is on crutches and wife is not very mobile for a very cheap rate (coffee and cake) 😂 but the guy said their son was popping round to do it and said thanks for offering, yesterday I passed and saw the son with a bucket of water and stuff broom roughly scrubbing the blocks, today I passed and saw him brushing rough looking sand over it, I had to keep walking past as I would of asked wtf he was doing 🤦🏻‍♂️ they deserve better than that 😢
