Definitely, maul sees the bigger picture and knew what was coming, he's trying to be the voice of reason to ashoka, maul knew it was time to act fast, before "IT WAS TOO LATE" that they could possibly make a difference, but when they got to talking about Anakin Skywalker, well we all know how that turned out😅😅😅😉

While Maul sees the machine and believes in the power of old orders (the Sith), Kylo Ren wants to create his own legacy, step out of the shadow of the Empire, Vader and the Sith. But then came Dooku who replaced him and I thought he was a better apprentice because Sidious needed a charismatic leader for his plans which Maul never would have been able to. He was just a grunt.

Only a small amount of people in a galaxy knew, and they either died, were attacked, or were captured before they could do anything about it, sense the galaxy only saw them as crazy people or traitors, and it was only until it was too late that everyone found out they were not crazy, it’s a trend within society, we condemn the ones telling the truth and praise the ones who say what we want to hear. Even after the one wars, many knew nothing of the with plot at all except darth Vader, but they excepted him because he was on their side, right? People in the Star Wars galaxy very much are similar to people on earth. Only difference is that even conspiracy’s like the Illuminati still is being somewhat investigated by people, because what history has told us is that what seems like crazy thoughts and beliefs could have some form of truth to them, and it’s a 50/50 chance that it could exist, although not in the same way it is described.

I still remember the episode where she left, the jedi council treatment of her is what got me starting to dislike the Jedi council.
They screwed up and didn't believe in ahsoka,. Then when they find out they screwed up do they apologize and admit their mistake? No they go to some bs excuse like "well the force was testing you and us. So we didn't really make a mistake. "
No it wasn't the force testing you, all of you made a mistake and you are too arrogant to admit the fault was your's. The jedi deserved to fall for their arrogance.
Say what you want about the sith but ar least they are honest about who they are.

@@thepayne7862 The funniest part about the Jedi council is that it's hypocricy has led it to the fate it tried to prevent.
Because Yoda and Winu were afraid that Aniking could be led to the dark side by his fear over losing someone he loves, they prevented him from advancing, what led the young man into the hand of Sidious.
A jedi master should never let fear cloud their judgement, so it is quite ironic.
But then, the jedi also dealt in absolutes like "Fear is bad" and "Do not love" while claiming that only Siths deal in absolutes...

I rewatched this segment of the episode over and over. Maul's delivery was beyond incredible. For me, this is one of greatest moments in Star Wars history, when everything is on the verge of falling apart, and two opposing forces come closer than ever to putting a stop to it only to end up letting their personal feelings get in the way. Maul and Ahsoka together could have represented the ultimate balance, saving the galaxy from Sidious, saving the Jedi from themselves, turning them both into heroes and proving once and for all that the Dark and the Light are meant to exist in harmony. But Ahsoka was blindly trusting of Anakin even though by this point it was already too late to prevent him from becoming Vader, and Maul was too short-sighted to understand that there had to be another way to stop Sidious that didn't mean killing Anakin.
Two perfectly written characters with believable flaws, motivations, and the power to do something, who failed because they couldn't see eye to eye.

I knew she wouldn't do it because of Anakin. But I was so excited for a moment there, that the former sith and the former jedi could truly amount to something and change everything. After researching Maul's backstory, I think he and Ahsoka could actually find that balance in the force. If only Ahsoka was a little less jedi and Maul were a little less sith. *sigh* They were so close to compromise. But the chosen one stands in the way. Man...

It's so compelling because it's not just the jedi who are beginning to learn the truth about palpatine, it's the politicians too and worse yet, sith like maul and dooku saw long beforehand the inevitable fall of the republic and jedi, played their part in it and were quickly disposed of once palpatine/sidious became emperor. It’s still good that she didn’t side with Maul in the end. There was a fine line between “realist observer” and “renegade survivor,” and that was where Maul stood. Few who take this route make it to the redemption ending, like Ventress and Skyguy. The Jedi Order were victims of their own hubris.
Their arrogant belief of what they knew of the force was what REALLY destroyed them.
Ironically, Anakin DID bring balance to the Force in the end by destroyed the overpowered Jedi Order,
and then later Darth Sidious as Vader when the Sith became too powerful.
