- The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to photograph her wedding and create an album. She alleges it was a mess and he didn’t complete the job, so she’s suing for a refund. The defendant says the bride was a raving lunatic on her wedding day, and she complained that her guests didn’t look attractive in the pictures.

Some of the defendant's comments prove that he's immature and unprofessional to say the least.
That is true, but the pics were great, and he said he was one of the last people to leave. She got a phenomenal deal! 😊

Why is the defendant so awkward? He struggled to even answer the most basic questions. 🙄 I will say, some of the photos were quite nice though, but he really should have gotten his thoughts together before he came into court.
She kept talking over him, that was awkward. The judge was in lawyer mode lol. I thought The pictures were nice too.

The plaintiff is such a sweet lady. The defendant was struggling to answer a question and she answered the question for him. The way she quietly guided her husband with her hand was cute too. Super cute couple. She called his daughter "our daughter" at first until he corrected her and said "my daughter"
I wondered if she wore the pants in the family. She wouldn't let him talk, or finish what he was saying..I hate that.

@@meekthegreek1623 I don't think she was being rude or controlling. As his wife she knows what he wants to say and she feels like she can articulate it better. They have an accent and he sort of mumbles. She's awesome.

@@meekthegreek1623 I actually seen the opposite. He would step in at times when she was attempting to answer the question, and articulate what she was trying to say/describe. Which I don’t see a problem with either. If something like that happens all of the time, it’s rude and can come off as controlling at times. Otherwise, it’s a partnership and you should be able to rely on your partner to help, step in or be your strength when it’s needed, in a respectful manner and vice versa.
Her friend should’ve been sued for recommending the defendant 😂😂

I've never seen lips move so much with so little information coming out. When he tries to explan why no album it's painful to watch the judge try and pull a point out of all that flapping. They wanted so many pictures. There was aaa communication problems , they were harassing me. What ?

They didn’t hire him for his communication skills!!! They hired him for his photography skills and the pictures are really very well done and beautiful!!! Some people are never satisfied and always want more as well as not wanting to pay. They want everything to be free!!!

Some photo editing software will let you add background to lengthen the size of a picture. So for that photograph where the left edge isn't extended out enough for the defendants to properly frame it, the photographer can use software like Photoshop to add an inch or more to the left side of that picture.
Yes and no. Sometimes that’s easy to do, but often, to do it right a photo editor (which not all photographers are) has to charge much more than a client may be willing to pay. I once edited a mosaic wall out of a wedding photo and it took a few hours of meticulous work. Another time I extended a doorway to balance the composition and it took ten minutes. This type of work usually starts at $30 an hour fwiw.

In America, people like getting paid for a service and then claiming that they did it as a favor which is why they didn't do a professional job. A "favor" is when it's free, and the person paid nothing, I've seen many cases here of people suing friends they "helped" and claim "it's not about the money"😂it's never about the money.
If a photographer is shooting your wedding for $900 it might not be a favor but it’s a HUGE discount. Most professional photographers charge $3,000-$4,000. Wedding photography is very pricey. I went cheap on my photography and I don’t have a single picture I would want to show someone. These pictures are good in comparison to mine.

The defendant is NOT a good businessman, he has NO business sense whatsoever and inventing another photographer who doesn't turn up is a classic scam move. The judge gave the plaintiff $300 for the photo album, so therefore didn't give them very much back for the non-existent photographer...

Being a good professional photographer means that you are NOT just a talented ‘picture taker’, it includes being an organized, well informed, smart and savvy businessman as well.
I’d even go as far as to say that these things are equally important!!

I wish the judge wouldn't steamroll over people when they're trying to answer a question. The defendant couldn't speak fast enough and it was frustrating. He seemed very shy and I felt bad for him because I used to be the same way.
I love how people select a photographer, don't give any instructions, don't discuss the shoot, then later suddenly become photo critics. Too bad.

I have photographed weddings for 30 years. The photographer is an idiot, but $900 for four hours on location, 700 images, an 11x14 and an album is stupid cheap. They deserve each other.

I LOVED MY WEDDING PHOTOS! I was told I would get 175 in my contract, and at least 10 minutes of wedding video footage. It was the best wedding of the year, she had so much fun, I got 800 high quality amazing photos and a 53 minute long video 😭🥰 I should have been on 4 Weddings lol.

I am like JM, I like looking at wedding photos too. She and Judge Schlesinger have been married 7 years less than us, so they may have some creative wedding photos, back in 1986 when we were wed, it was the classic session The wedding party, the parents seated bride & groom standing etc., all in a studio, no creative shots either props or outdoors.
The plaintiffs wedding photos are beautiful compared to ours! I bought what was called a 'Sample Book' back in the day, but no large photos they were that awful. Color was horrible, in the wedding party photo the rod from the curtain behind us was exposed, we had all of two photographers in our city to pick from at that time, believe it or not.
Good thing we didn't let our marriage hinge on our photos!!

Nobody ever goes back to look at their wedding photos / videos.
Except my parents. They got married during Hurricane Edna in New hampshire. The wedding photographer studio was destroyed from the hurricane. Because of this he lost all of my parents photos. On their 25th wedding anniversary, by coincidence my cousin bought the photographers business. While getting rid of bunch of old files, he found their pictures. He gave them to us and we gave it to our parents on their anniversary.
We’re they just flabbergasted to get them? What an amazing gift! I wish there was video here of their faces!
