- The plaintiffs hired the defendant to take photos and videos at their wedding. They claim the defendant partied the whole night instead and they didn’t even get to choose the pictures that went into the album. They’re suing for a partial refund. The defendant argues the plaintiffs loved the album.

As a graphic designer who also retouches photos, I can say it's going to cost her more money if she feels some of the photos need editing. She wanted money, not pictures.

The wedding book was wack. Two and three of the same photos on the same page? I certainly would not use him. That said, the plaintiff is lucky that the judge didn't rule against her because once she "approved" the work it should've been case closed.

email gets sent to your email account, yahoo/gmail/etc. you can open it on any device you have your email set up on. it doesnt get 'sent to your phone'. those folks are definitely NOT tech savvy!

When this plaintiff realize she now has the complete rights to all 500+ of her wedding photos to do with as she pleases I hope she is finally happy with the judgment and that Judge Milian is the best and was nicer to her than most judges would have been considering her attitude

We did a courthouse wedding & went back to work the same day & barely look at those pictures 😂maybe if we have a reception but it’s no big deal honestly.

We look at our pictures All the time but we feel like they aren’t mainly history for our children/ grand grandchildren. They all absolutely love looking at picture etc

Me and my wife did s backyard wedding. Was at a family members house. And a small cookout after that was burgers and chicken.
Cost almost nothing! Ours was fun and almost free!

The Judge went way above to help this Bridezilla and she'll one day look back and thank JM. Judge Judy wouldn't have done that,she'd say "well you received the service and approved the book your case is dismissed". You eat the steak you pay for it as Judge Judy has said several times! I made my own wedding book and a dear friend made me another one and I absolutely love them both! I think it's more fun to make your own.

JM really did make the best decision to ensure the bride got all the photos of her wedding and the ability to design the album and get her canvas portrait. Unfortunately, seemed like the bride wanted all her photos and all her money. Very greedy and ungrateful. I would've gave her part of her money minus the cost of the video and let the photographer take the album and all her photos. Maybe she'd learn to be more grateful when all her photos memorializing her wedding day are gone! She basically ended up with what she had because she was too dumb to figure out how to look at the photos in the first place.
I spent two years as a wedding photographer and it was the hardest job I ever had. These plaintiffs are ridiculous and nothing will make them happy.

The plaintiff's husband wanted the monies. It's her fault that she did not know how to use the computer and when she set this whole thing up I am sure that the defendant explained the format that those photos would arrive. You can not tell me that out of over 500 photos that she can not find 40 like the judge said.

The husband showed that he wanted $ when he was offered all of the photos/video plus rights and he still wasn’t happy. They don’t have a clue how much 512 wedding photos would cost should they have wanted to buy all of them in the first place.

She will find out as soon as she starts trying to create a new book and sees those raw photos that need to be edited. heehehe wish I could be a fly on the wall when she finds out how much will cost. Bet she get happy with that book she has now.

Sis, you are just *BOUND* and *DETERMINED* to be unhappy with anything except money! If you *REALLY* care about the memories of that beautiful day, you’ll be happy to go through those 500+ pictures, and make the album of your dreams. Either way, the pics are the pics, so he could only have worked with what he captured during the event anyway, so you may as well do the same. 🤷🏽♀️

They basically already have a copy of their pics, so don't want to pay for them anymore. Scamming couple. They deserve each other. They didn't deserve all of those pics. Usually they pay for only a certain amount of pics, not all raw pics. They basically got a huge benefit from them trying to scam him.

I’ll never understand why people will pay so much for a wedding and pictures. While they should save that money instead I just don’t understand…
Weddings are not an easy job, easily 5-8 hrs on your feet, trying to get as many people possible…what a headache!! And then brides that micromanage everything you’ve done! $2000 is actually a really good price for 500plus photos.

Great ending. She can now take all of those pictures and have them edited to her liking for her album. She’s no longer at the mercy of someone who doesn’t care as much about her wedding photos as she does.

If she had actually wanted the photos then she would have been happy to accept want JM laid down for her, she wanted the pics he sent her with the video and then her $2k so she could have her free pics. Now she can go sue someone else when they don't edit her photos the way she wants!!

That photo book looked like a 4th grade arts project. That being said, the plaintiff and the husband are cheap asf. I believe even if everything was perfect that still would’ve sued.

My best friend hired a photographer and she hated the pictures that the photographer took....I took lots of pictures of her wedding with a film style camera that was named the cameo for like $20.00...for part of her wedding present i gave her copies of my photos and she was in love...She and her husband both said we should have hired you instead do you want anything for the fees of your photos....I told her no because that is my gift to you guys....

A lot of these folks know they can't afford these extravagant weddings and parties from the beginning. Then look for any scrap of dust to get money back. Judge has tried to help them every way she could and told them they weren't getting 2k and they still didn't want the deal.
There is no reason to have duplicate pictures in any book. Ever! let alone multiple duplicate copies 😅
I agree HOWEVER he slid by with that because that lady was so ridiculously biased on anything but 2000 dollars so she jacked herself. She gone find out how much it will cost to edit photos once she gets them and tries to do a new book. The photos in the book are edited professionally done photos, the ones she will be receiving are straight from the card he used when he took them. They are unedited meaning some are good, some are okay and they all need to be edited if she wants them lightened or any flaws corrected to anything on the photo.

I can't stand when we black ppl try to be creative with name spelling. To me it just makes it harder for that child growing up and even on paper, we're immediately discriminated against like jobs and such.

I agree with you. Obviously no one should ever be sitting there judging resumes based off the spelling of the applicants name and its horrible that this happens. BUT, as a parent... knowing that this DOES unfortunately happen, why would you give your child a name that could make their life harder yanno 😕
The defendant did not give a good answer as to why he had the same three pictures on some of the album pages. He put the book together. I'm sure at some point he decided just to slap the same pictures on the page three times and called it a day.

Lol.... and taking pics of Mexicans is challenging. I know cuz I help my sister who's a professional photographer and we live in San Antonio (predominantly Mexican city.) So don't label all black brides as such. 😊

Girl, bye. Spend $59.99 on a computer class, seriously! Because that was the issue here. In fact, I don't think she has a computer in her home. She was probably at the library or a print shop. And I post this with no malice or sarcasm. If the pictures alone for the wedding cost 2k, imagine the total amount spent. We have to intellectually evolve so we can continue to easily enjoy the things of this world.

I am a photographer. This lady got the best judgement everrrrrr! All the photos? All the rights? And the money to have a book remade AND a canvas photo? I think she did receive all the photos but when she said - I got them in Dropbox but they were little- I knew then…. She is not tech savvy. I am a photographer but I do NOT do weddings! 🎉

Dropbox is available on any internet connected device. Every photographer does some editing. Nobody gets 100 % perfect photos all the time..
