I LOVE THIS TUTORIAL!!!! i love the fact that its 4 minutes long, since im more experienced, sometimes its such a draggg watching through a 30 minute tutorial where its so slow. this is straight to the point and the editing is spectacular :3

I needed to reduce to 30 chains because 40 was way too big for my head lol but i guess im crocheting a bit loose

thanks for da tutorial!! wanted to ask, is this made differently from the colorful vertical striped one you showed in ur hat collection vid?
and to confirm,,,, this tut starts the hat from the top fold of the hat? TQSM
It is different from the way it was made but the shape is the same! The one in my hat collection was free hand ☺️ and yes, the tut starts from the the top of the hat!

Helloo💕 this tutorial is just what I needed but how long is the foundation chain? Bc I made mine with 40 chains but it ended up too big for my head :(
Thank you so much! Ah so you only chain with the length of your head (or from ear to ear) 💜💕
An easier way to do this is to crochet a long rectangle that fits around your head, sew it together, then shape it!!!
HI! I have a question..Im doing stripes with my beanie in two different colors and I want the stripes to be a little thinner than the video....would it matter if I did single crochet instead of double for the whole beanie?
try using a smaller hook or using half stitches
this is my third attempt trying to make this w this tutorial, are u suppose to slip stitch into the third stitch of the chain of three??

Hi thanks for this! I just chained 40 and did my first couple rows and it seems a little long. I measured it and it’s 11.5 inches and I have a pretty average size head. Do you think that’s too long?

After chaining three, do you start your double crochet on the third stitch ?
No, you start it on the next stitch. So not on the 3 chains, if that makes sense.
Do we need to skip 3 chain until the end?

On the second stitch from the hook, do 2 single crochets in the same hole. Hope this makes sense!

Theres no need to connect. As you crochet, it forms the whole shape of the beanie. Hope this makes sense （*’∀’人）♥

You do the 4 crochets inside the first chain you did. Hope this makes sense!

Thank you! When you reach the end, slip stitch on your first crochet to close. Tighten it, then cut! You will then weave the hangover string into the beanie to hide
