just a tip: you can weave in an end while you're crocheting if you grab it while you're doing a stitch (I always just hold the end above the loops I'm crocheting into). it saves a lot of time so the only end you have to weave in is the last one!
This is awesome tip, thank you! Is there also something similar for knitting too? I think my mom does it somehow but i can’t figure out where to position the thread so it weaves is as i go
@@MayLina you could weave the loose end back and forth between the front and the back of the work between each stitch while you are knitting, but I find that this isn't super clean looking, but it's worth a try if you want to avoid weaving in ends
Can't wait to try this one too! I'm having so much fun in my little crafting area. Making lots of mistakes and having to rip out rows of progress, but loving every minute. Thanks again for inspiring this oldster to have some fun crocheting, sewing and creating!!
That is such a cute hat, Jenna. Makes me want to make one. I keep my eyes on Benson the whole time you're crocheting the hat, he's so cute, definitely loves his Mama!
This is so cool, I just made a beanie this weekend! Finally got to use some lovely alpaca wool mix i got on my summer vacation. I love using stuff i already have, makes me feel less guilty about buying yarn... and now i have leftover yarn for that stunning scrap yarn beanie!!!
Hey Jenna!!! Love from Louisiana. It’s crazy that you posted this. I binge watch your videos everyday while crocheting and sewing. Im actually making a beanie as well !! Thanks for the free pattern! ❤
The hat turned out cute! I weave my ends in as I go, too me it feels like a time saver (it’s probably not) but when I get done I don’t still have a bunch of ends to weave in. The jackets for Benson were ADORABLE 🥰
I am in the same predicament, I have knitted and crocheted so many hats, but I don't know where any of them are! I must make a few more to get me through this winter in northern Indiana. Currently wearing my favorite beanie I knitted from rainbow mandala yarn, the only one I can find now lol! Love your videos, so comforting and fun to watch while crafting, and you constantly inspire me to make more creative colorful pieces 😁✨
i love you channel and your videos. you have helped me learn to make a bunch of nice items. One suggestion tho, Weaving in ends really suck, you have to crochet the ends in as you go, makes it so much easier! then nothing to worry about weaving at the end
Oh my days that’s the thing I love about crochet lol I can’t snack makes me way more intentional with my snacking which is a good thing for me :-) Benson is too cute 🥰
22” is a average sized head. You can also measure from ear to ear, across the top of your head. (Dome part of your head) for an even more accurate measurement. I just love Benson! You should make up a Benson’s fan club! 😊 such a happy doggy!
Im currently knitting a beanie while i watched this video! Maybe i make a crochet one next, i really like the colors you used. Hope you had fun camping!
Hi Jenna. I'm so glad to have this idea of crocheting in the flat and sewing it together. Maybe I missed it, but did you decrease at the top? I made the mistake of trying to crochet a hat in a circle. Didn't know about the flat plan then. It was a disaster. It got bigger and smaller, and bigger... well you get it. It was for my daughters boyfriend. I gave it to him, with all the caviates, but he used it whenever he went outside to feed the dog and do chores. What a guy. You did a great job. I love your "just dive in" attitude. It inspires me to just try.
You can invisible crochet ribbed hats together by slip stitching into back loops of the first and last rows if you start the project by crocheting thru the back of the chain (the literal underside of the V not just the back leg of the V).
I love this hat sm haha and when I mix so many colors together it's not usually my jam but I actually love these and hopefully that doesn't seem mean, I just have different color preferences, but I love thisss 😂💚
I am literally waiting to crochet a beanie! I just need time to get the yarn!!! Thanks for showing another way to do a crochet beanie and for the Inspo for mine :)
Girl your awesome!! Thanks to you I made my first crochet sweater without a pattern! I was so so proud of myself. Also what city you live in? Because the view is so beautiful ❤
Hey! Jenna your vlogs makes me so so so so happy and I really love your vlogs so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you reach 500K Subscribers very very soon!✨☺️❤️
I'm so inspired by your videos and I've been binge watching them! 🤍✨ How did i only discover you now??? Love your personality and i feel like you're my friend and we crochet together😄 I always have one of your videos on while i also crochet 🤍 I'm from the philippines so i am envious of your cold weather but i will still wear a beanie 😅
Benson is an entire mood. The look on his face when he realized the weather changed, was so gangster. OMG I love him so much. ❤

I too do the same

My grandma just gave me a bag full of scraps of yarn and this is just the perfect project to use them up! Thank you so much, Jenna!!
Ima immediately ditch all my half-finished Christmas crochet projects and make myself a beanie now ...
Can't wait to try this one too! I'm having so much fun in my little crafting area. Making lots of mistakes and having to rip out rows of progress, but loving every minute. Thanks again for inspiring this oldster to have some fun crocheting, sewing and creating!!
AHHH!! This makes me so happy ❤️
Keep creating!!! And never stop. 🥰
This is a strange bit of advice for snacking while crocheting but for dusty snacks you can use chopsticks so you don’t get Your piece all dusty!
Now I just need to learn how to use chopsticks properly 😂
@@JennaPhipps just by the kid ones that are stuck together 😅
Omg I do this!! Regardless of if I’m crocheting or not tho hahah
Geeeenious!
popcorns can be eaten with a spoon
That is such a cute hat, Jenna. Makes me want to make one. I keep my eyes on Benson the whole time you're crocheting the hat, he's so cute, definitely loves his Mama!

The hat turned out cute! I weave my ends in as I go, too me it feels like a time saver (it’s probably not) but when I get done I don’t still have a bunch of ends to weave in. The jackets for Benson were ADORABLE 🥰
Finishing a piece and seeing all the ends hanging makes me feel so overwhelmed!! Definitely good idea to weave as you go
Your vids are so comforting thanks for always taking the time to post
So cute. The hat, the dog and you! 💕
For snacking: I have my kids put a chip in my mouth whenever they walk passed me 😁. I just call out, "chip me," and they know the drill lol.

JENNA YOUR HAIR LOOKS AMAZING OMG

Well I am very well crocheting the life out of me while I listen to you're videos because you're like a whole mood that I can't relate to more.
You should crochet a skirt in the same colours & pattern as your toque! So cute!
The colors are so pretty together 😍👍

omg. the ends are a NIGHTMARE!! tip for everyone: you can either just crochet over your ends as you go, or use magic knots to change yarn! ❤
Your hair's been looking so good lately, after that haircut!
Thank you jenna for inspiring all my crochet! i love you and ur dog!!!!!!
I like the name 'toque'. In Brazil we say 'touca' (or 'gorro').
Hi Jenna, love your hat. Planning on making one after finish sweater’s for grands. Enjoy your camping 🥰
no way! i made the same hat two days ago! it is so super simple and cozy hehe
I love this hat sm haha and when I mix so many colors together it's not usually my jam but I actually love these and hopefully that doesn't seem mean, I just have different color preferences, but I love thisss 😂💚
very timely I just started this new hobby!!!
In Tupper Lake, NY we wear toque’s. We have a large population of French Canadians that settled here years ago, hence the toque 😊
We all can agree benson is so cute❤
Wow, Benson will be stylin’ up the campsite
Hey Jenna, love your videos. The reveal has me laughing lol love your personality.. let’s do the 360 🤣😂😂🤗❤️
I'm almost done with mine! Thank you for the tutorial!! love, hugs, prayers.
Perfect timing! I'm crocheting Christmas gifts and need to make some hats haha. Thank you so much for this!
You should start weaving in the ends into the piece as you go. No yarning needle needed, you just crochet over the ends. Total game changer 😉
I am literally waiting to crochet a beanie! I just need time to get the yarn!!! Thanks for showing another way to do a crochet beanie and for the Inspo for mine :)
It looks great Jenna! Good job!
Girl your awesome!! Thanks to you I made my first crochet sweater without a pattern! I was so so proud of myself. Also what city you live in? Because the view is so beautiful ❤
That's awesome that you crocheted your first sweater! I'm so proud of you!

Canada Pooch 🤣 I love bensen’s little outfits!!

Shout out to Book of the Month Club!😂 I love my books and I love your beanie. Super cute!
I’ve never related to Jenna so much when Benson was in her spot! Hahaha! 🤣🤣🤣
Cute hat! Cute Benson! 🙂
"It's hard to snack and crochet" - this is at least 50% of my motivation for crocheting though!
Now you have to make a matching scarf and gloves
Love how it turned out!
Sooooooo cute! I must make one this weekend
I'm so inspired by your videos and I've been binge watching them! 🤍✨ How did i only discover you now???
