The thing you have to keep in mind with bobbles is that they are actually 5 double crochet stitches but the pattern only counts it as one. And if you’re making a strawberry bobble on every 4th stitch, you are literally doubling your stitch count so obviously it’s going to take longer. I made a similar item about a year ago and boy was it tedious! Just remember that you have put twice as much time into that top. Be proud of yourself for completing it rather than bash yourself for being “slower” 😊🍓

So it looks to me like she used the original viral pattern (ruclips.net/video/x-x07CL-D4A/видео.html) but instead of using red or green for the single stitches between the strawberries, she used white (in both the red and green rows). Meaning she switched back and forth between red/green and white within each row, going over the top of the color she wasn't using. I've never done this but found a video of how to do it here (ruclips.net/video/k4B-b2bVi30/видео.html). Totally going to try this method and make a hat for my babyyy!!

@@Sunnshine29 it's a short on RUclips and all you got to do is put it on the search line strawberry stitch at least a dozen channels whose videos I have saved just because I like somebody's technique and want to compare it to someone else's. Frankly though I like the fact that Jenna's are tilted this way and that because they look more perfect that way than they do all straight lined up in a row. Which I have not seen. And I certainly love that Jenna is so unapologetic that they look organic.

Oh my goodness how amazing! I think you should make a pattern. Also, I think if you make a border around the top edge in white like the bottom edge then the straps would be just a bit thicker and super cute. Oh my goodness amazing.

One of the ways you could avoid the side seam issue is to end your rows with all cream, no berries as a type of border, then the armhole situation might be easier too.

This is amazing 🍓🍓🍓 and yes to the banana shorts. I had banana pants (fabric, front the shop Gorman) and I loved them and wore them until it had rips that could not be repaired. Fruit clothes are the best

So cute! I think it would be super cute to repeat the border you had at the bottom around the neckline and armholes. I think undoing one row at the top front and have longer straps would help with proportions while keeping the fit. You could also take it in the bottom sides and embroider the missing strawberries on top to really make it fall perfect 🥰 either way it look so frickin cute, amazing work 💖

You could crochet some strawberry patches in the white spaces, but maybe wider straps with some padding/backing and a lining.
