I pass this station on the N or W train every time I go to college and having these new elevators is a great addition for a station that’s in such a busy area.
@@noahnorman6877 If that were to happen, there would be escalators, stairs, and inclined elevators in a building disguised as an ordinary NYC apartment building.
Lots of improvements at this station. I heard this was partially funded by the new development going up on the north end of the station in exchange for approval of the building. Pretty sure and second elevator will open once the building is done
They just reopened the Manhattan bound only exit/entrance for Rego Park 63 Dr on the north side of Queens BLVD that was closed for the longest time. I just rode it on Sunday and it looks VERY clean and sturdy now!
I was there two weeks ago; I grew up watching the (7) Red Bird trains going by, operated the R33 cars, and this is by far the best the MTA has ever invested!!! Train Geek for life!!!! I am hopeful that Congestion Pricing is now in full effect that they will use it wisely on multiyear projects on the horizon.
They did a nice Job 👍 Looks very clean the station. This is the only station where the IRT tracks and BMT tracks share the same platforms. Happy New Year my friend 😎👍
What goes into maintenance of cleanliness in these elevators? I feel like they can’t prevent all elevators from smelling like the one at Times Square-42 St but they just choose not to.
I don't understand why hotel elevators can go super fast and probably get similar amount of use as these will, meanwhile looks like these elevators are pretty slow
It feels like the MTA is so far behind but I am so glad to see these actually being put in.
The MTA should hurry up and make more stations accessible as soon as possible!
Finally. The elevators are open and operating. I'll need to look for them the next time I journey into Manhattan!

I just wish now that there was a free transfer between it and Queens Plaza on the E, M and R.

They need to have elevators that can self-clean like the public toilets.

Congestion pricing is a joke
Woah! Queensboro Plaza and Queens Plaza are actually being connected?

Finally new elevators!
Oh? 👀
Looks like GAL installs not Mongrain.
Impressive!
you should do a video about the penn access project and what could be improved
why have a ramp in front of the elevator?
2025 ABOUT TIME
Nice filming, what camera did you use?
i think it's a samsung s23 ultra
I can’t tell if these are traction or hydraulic
Any thoughts on congestion pricing now being in effect?
It will sure affect business around affected areas, people aren’t happy with it, the whole ceremonial process was a joke 😂
