    Great job that was an awesome idea using the ball joint press tool so you didn't have to take all the leaf spring out of the car. The way you explain things is clear and concise. You deserve way more subscribers. I hope your channel grows. I will continue watching.

    I just installed these on my 73 Camaro. The removal of the spring bushing was the hardest part.

      @builtbybo22  Год назад +2

      I 100% agree, The whole job was straight forward, but I had a challenge with the spring bushings even with the tool. Worth it though!!

      What did you do to make it easier?

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  Год назад

      @@motornation2578 To make it easier, Make sure you have the appropriate tools to press out/in the spring eye bushings.

    • @Buffrt66
      @Buffrt66 Год назад

      @@motornation2578 Put a large drill bit in your drill motor. Drill holes through the rubber bushing till it falls apart. Cut the metal sleeve with a sawzall or hack saw at the location where there is a gap in the loop of the leaf spring, and twist it out with a pair of pliers.

      @@builtbybo22 I bet it is! Can you say the Caltracs improved your traction of just eliminated thel popping noise? I have a '65 with a Boss 302 non-factory configuration. If she blew tomorrow I would go with a 331 or 348.

      The Cal Tracs 100% made a huge difference, they are literally a necessity for our cars to get traction! My main downfalls now are to much power for how little side wall tire is have. 20” tires with a tiny 30 series tire have little flex! All in all WAY BETTER! Check out my channel, l ripped around trying to keep up to
      My buddies GT500, it was awesome!

    Great video. So would this set up help for corner stability or more just for straight line no wheel hop?

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  9 месяцев назад +1

      In my opinion it is strictly to help get traction to the ground and avoid wheel hop. There is really no characteristics in the design that I can see to help with cornering.

      I bought the "Low Profile" Kit for my car. Part #CLV-6401. Summit Racing had the best deal, & The shipping was free.

      I am running the Thrush Welded series mufflers. They look exactly like Flowmasters on the outside, but sound good with less drone.

      @Built By Bo sounds really good I'm sick of Flowmaster. I'm running the dumps more than anything but Hopefully mine works as good as yours I'm constantly breaking them lose
