Great pair of boots. These were the very first boots I’ve ever purchased & I bought them a few weeks ago. I’m a true size 8 in Nike get but got a EU 40 (size 7) for the Camion Boots & they fit great.
I love my camion boots. you're right. its super versatile. I wear mine with black jeans, light jeans, wide black cargos and everything in between. (except sweats). For sizing I kinda agree with you. I think we're the same foot size but I went for 41. I love them so much that I bought the black version as well. love your videos james! Im always excited to see your vids
I found your videos very helpful in determining my size for the Camion boot. I was, however, able to buy both a size 39 and a 40 from SSENSE to see which one feels better. So my feet on the Brannock device measure a size 7 wide. In Nike, dunks and Jordan's mostly, I wear a US 7.5 which translates to an EU 40.5. The same is true for New Balance and Adidas. I feel I have to go up a half size as I feel those manufacturers make shoes that are on the narrow to standard widths. In YSL boots, Common Projects, or the Maison Margela Germain Trainers, I wear an EU 40. I decided to keep the 39 in Camion boot, which translates a US 6, because, like you said, the wide toe gave my feet more wiggle room and my heel slips in the 40. I tried them on with regular Nike socks and thick L.L. Bean wool socks made for boots. The wool socks made the 40 fit better, but I'm not wearing these boots into nature. So simply, I went down a full EU size and a size and a half from my US size.
This may sound dumb but are these boots only gonna be on sale for a limited time or can I buy these boots 3-4 months from now? I’m kinda spent and these shoes are a lot and ideally I’d wait till the end of this year but if our legacy doesn’t make these boots long term then I get nothing so do I bite the bullet now or can I wait. Also where did you get the boots from?
I got these from a local boutique called Notre in chicago. I believe these are apart of the mainline collection so I don’t think they are going anywhere
Hey man! Hope you're reading this. Could you tell me if the Camion Boots are good for Winter? The sole looks very slippery. Do they work in the city when there is snow and potentially a little ice?
For me personally I wouldn't wear in the snow. I did once and my feet got wet. I live in chicago so we get a lot of snow and rain. That are great dry winter boots
I was looking into getting a pair and was wondering where you got yours? Especially as a US resident that doesn’t want to deal with international shipping lol.
Maybe it’s just a me thing but tried putting these and other side boots on and it’s truly a pain in the ass to put on. Once me feet is in there it’s cool but I struggled so much getting it on, I couldn’t justify buying a pair
I'm a true US size 9, (i wear 9 in Nike and almost any other shoe). I bought size 41 in this boot and one thing i noticed was one boot was noticeably tighter than the other boot. They still both fit my foot, but I was thinking of returning them due to the discrepancy. Do you think the fit variation is simply a result of the manufacturing style? Maybe i should just stick with them but idk
Just bought them in the same colour but they’re not quite brown to me… the colour changes to olive in certain lights… i couldn’t associate the colour with 💩🥲

That’s great insight! Thanks for the comment. I think I like my sneakers looser and my boots tighter
Dude this so sooo helpful. I also wear Nike Socks and I Am a EU 40 in GATS so thank you for helping me decide between EU 39 and 40!

Hi James, quick question for you. Have you had your boots vibram'd and if so do you have any recommended Cobblers in Chicago? Thanks!
I haven't had them resoled. They came with vibram sole on them. But I really like broadway cobbler. On the expensive side but worth it
What’s the jacket at 7:17? It fits amazingly on you!
Appreciate it! I had it MTM from Stoffa.
Your hair, glasses and denim jacket white tee combo is chefs kiss
Appreciate the love!
What size should i get if im a size 9.5. I usually fit 9-9.5 in nike but mosly 9.5. Im considering getting a 41. lmk thanks!
That's what I would do personally
What’s your height and what size of sneakers do you normally wear?
I'm 5.8 175 and I wear a 40
Just bought them there. great video. Just wondering if they stretched out at all after wear?
I would say the streached a little. But I wouldn’t say a lot
What kind of care do you put into these boots? And how frequent?
I haven't done anything on these. I don't really think it needs it, because the leather is coated
I was looking into getting a pair and was wondering where you got yours? Especially as a US resident that doesn’t want to deal with international shipping lol.
I got mine from notre in chicago
Just caught these on sale!
Heck yeah!! Enjoy them.

Interesting. I find the Chelsea boots tuff to put on sometimes but not the side zips.
Just received second pair one size larger and they fit much better. Am trying to find a way not to mark up my wife's white tile floors. LOL
Hahah the last thing you want to do is piss off the wifey
my feet are touching the front on the eu 39 but then in eu 40 they are too big, help!
I don't know what to tell you! Maybe thicker socks
ssense sale tempting me now
I feel that. I would be doing the same if I didn't need a lens
What products do you use in your hair dude?
I don’t use anything. I’m not the tallest but at least I have good hair haha.
Will they hold up well in snow??
I don't think they would personally. I guess it depend on how much snow
What pants are those? 7:41
They are from suit supply they are Havana traveler

That’s tuff. Are your toes rubbing?
I have this with most shoes. It's normal for one foot to be ever so slightly bigger than the other

Haha I feel you
