The Jump-Pack, Oh My God. I thought the 5-second reduction wasn't going to be enough, but combined with the longer distance, it makes a huge difference, especially against bugs.
@@Crazymrpipz A cool tip: With the +grenades armor perk, you can carry 7 frag grenades, aim them in the air, and dunk them to close bug holes. Not only is it fun, but it also gives your loadout more flexibility, like not having to take the crossbow or grenade pistol.

@@simonarques5201 Because of the long cooldown, I tried not to use it too much and only for emergencies, but now it's dunking time. Also, it turns out that not being able to aim your weapon while airborne was never intended and is a bug; it was included in today’s patch notes as a bug.
Honestly these 2 massive buffs are what made this patch interesting to me. Purifier is great too, but it was expected. Senator with Heavy armor pen was an amazing surprise.
It's so good when they buff things you have already been using / toughing it out and getting used to ! I like to run the Purifier , RR , machine gun, autocannon , rocket or Gatling sentry My Favorite the Engineer build with all of the Turrets is going to be sick now ! Especially if you have teammates which you can grab a support weapon from. Running all of the sentries along with both expendables as a team and you're going to have all your bases covered! The purifier is a perfect primary for my chemical agent. OGS+ Sterilizer+ dog breath is perfect. 4th slot is fex strat, I like the 380, mech, or OPS. I kinda just play as support and float where I'm needed to help gas and control bugs and heal allies it much easier to hit the with the stim now also

@@Crazymrpipz I played vs bugs too with Purifier. It is good enough to be in S tier now. But not my preference to play vs Bugs. I am still a Cookout player because of the safe space that it creates. Now with the big PP buff Senator, i'm running Cookout + Senator + Recoiless. It is so great. All rounder loadout to face all enemies with dignity.
@@CrazymrpipzIt is a mix Dominator, Scorcher and Crossbow. End up pretty great but still needs another weapon to help when you get swarmed by small enemies, like the Crossbow. Not a 10/10 weapon to justify being the best of the best IMO.
@@siddakid9325 Great vs both factions. 2 charged shots bile spewers. 3-4 regular fast shots hive guards. 3 charged shots Alphas. Pretty solid. Better than Dominator now IMO and a great contender to the Crossbow because it has more ammo but doesn't close bugholes.
@@Snake-d6i Resistance to snowstorms and make it so ice planets are not slippery for you. Niche, I know but why would they give them their own type of armor (CW) and not do anything with it. All the other warbonds introduced new passives except for this and democratic detonation and the latter didn’t need a new one because explosive resistance and extra grenades were in theme with the warbond.
Eruptor frag shrapnel feels fine. With these buffs I feel like Eruptor is being left behind. I think a decent buff to it would either be better ergonomics and like 0.5-1shave off the reload time, OR reliably 1 shot Alpha Commanders anywhere on body. (Can 1 shot Alphas in the chin since the frag blows upwards, but it’s inconsistent at best). Right now the XB just does everything better than Eruptor: one handed, quicker ergo, better ammo economy, large no-guessing explosion radius, can still snipe to 150m with not much vertical adjustment.

@@Crazymrpipz No it doesn't slap, increasing damage from 80 to 90 won't make much difference because that only shave of one two bullets at most from heavy hitters like alpha commander and both acid spewers... Increasing dmg by roughly 11.24% won't make it... If i had a saying in buffs I would give all ARs 10 mags and tweak other stats like bullets per mag and damage to make things balanced

On the flipside, the plasma punisher sucks to use now with the trajectory change. Its very hard to predict where long range shots are going to land. With the pre patch version i could land them exactly where i want. Why would they change this. Has anyone ever complained about the plasma trajectory?
Not many complaints, but the new way it works is easier for them to manage and differentiates the plasma weapons from other weapon types. Thats it. PP did get massive buffs.
I think purifier is great! the reaosn is its ammo economy works = even charged shots dont take extra ammo they count as 1 normal shot! makes clearing very comfy!
Scorcher probably does but purifier can easily be run without supply pack as long as you prioritize getting charged shots and don’t just spam light shots all the time.
I main Scorcher and from this video I can say Purifier is more versatile since you can charge shot for Aoe or boot damage, at least the ammo economy will be a lot better than Scorcher for sure.

If they’re crazy enough to have the senator kill a hulk in 3 shots to the front they should buff the eruptor ap to 4 as well.
Finally my favourite type of weapons are buffed. Even the verdict an senator got a huge buff.

Well, it has more ammo, and also, purifier seems to have less damage than scorcher when not charged. Soooo, both slaps now
It is not the best Primary. It is as good as the other S Tier Primaries.

The purifier seems so cool after the update. I originally skipped Polar Patriots, but I'm definitely reconsidering!
Now they only need to rework the armors passive to be cold-related and the warbond will be good.

They gave the Senator AP4; they need to give the Eruptor AP4 as well-something to make it worth picking over the Crossbow.

It’s super good as well, you can get charger butts in a little less than a clip

8 shots for the tail is the same the scorcher did, now with a higher rof.
Doesn't look like from a damage per second comparison that the charge up shot is worth the time it takes when you can just rapid fire into them.
But you get stagger and splash potentially on multiple targets.
