GOAT Commentary. Two more things left out. 1. The media and sports fans elevated and hyped Lebron to possible GOAT status coming out of high school. Granted, Lebron has the physicality and body of work to argue for that. But the GOAT debate was started by the media and fans, NOT by MJ and Lebron. 2. Lebron and Jordan both needed help. But Jordan had the benefit of having the GOAT of coaching Phil Jackson. Lebron had to face Popovich and Kerr a whopping 7 times in the Finals. It's a miracle he got one win against those dynasties, let alone getting to the Finals with the teams and coaches he had. A quote from Steve Kerr after winning the 2018 Finals: "They're the two best players I've ever witnessed. They're very different, but, however you wanna rank 'em, they're right there together."
Stop with this media filled biased take. So, let me get this straight... Phil Jackson, who was an assistant and a cheaper contract, lowest in the NBA at the time, who started 0-0 was already the greatest? Phil ended up being great, but you're only saying this to fit your crazy narrative.
@@timn8285 My narrative is that there is nuance to the GOAT debate. It is objective fact Lebron was called "The Chosen One." Being on the cover of Sports Illustrated as a high schooler. If you look at the accolades, MJ wins the debate no question. However, when you put into the context the amount of parity with more players (especially international) that Lebron had to face, on top of his wins and failures, Lebron's body of work is just as impressive as Jordan. Arguably better or worse. I'm not saying Jordan's competition was easier. People forget it was Reggie Miller that came the closest to dethroning Jordan (1998 ECF). Jordan didn't have a cakewalk, neither did Lebron. That's why I quoted Steve Kerr. I'll take his take, someone who actually played the game, over some random RUclips commenter telling me to stop.
@@nickmaestro there is so much more to this debate that it should always have MJ. You have to pick one season of Jordan's career and pick the one season he said was the hardest. Pippen was in a contract dispute and Rodman went missing for 4 days. And a HoF gave MJ trouble before he ended up winning game 7. He still didn't lose. LeBron fans have to discredit wins to prove LBJs losses are bigger than MJs wins. This didn't even make any sense. And this is exactly what you're trying to do. LeBron will barely be top ten when he retires. And that's an absolute fact. And is partially bc he tries to force this debate. He's .... in LBJs own words.. not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7. Lmao
imo its just sad that people even make this debate, but i guess the media will do what the media will do, for anyone that have 2 eyeballs its very obvious that james would never pass MJ
@@jonthomson9262 a conversion rate of one title for every 5 years isn't anywhere near MJ - who was close to a 1:2 conversion rate over his entire Bulls tenure. Count '86 and '95 for the 1/4 season each that they were and it's 6 titles in 11 1/2 years on the Bulls.... before he retired for a second time.
I am a LeBron fan and consider him the GOAT, but this was funny as hell. And I'm glad you tackle a lot of the dumb points people use to say LeBron is the GOAT when they can easily be disproven or is just flat out wrong/disrespectful of Jordan's Era.
Glad to hear that.. But pplneed to understand ..this isn't about MJ, Bron and his fans disrespectful to ENTIRE LEAGUE AND HISTORY. even today's players, everyone who plays with LeBron is downplayed and their greatness ignored. @fatgoat3127 No doubt. MJ and LeBron, for me, are really close. But when I'm thinking of the GOAT, I'm looking for the player who can provide the most for the team. IMO, LeBron is better than Jordan in that regard.

So if MJ is that obviously better than LBJ, why do Jordan fans have to keep making stuff up? There is no such thing as "half a title", and Jordan played 15 seasons, not 13. And of course, Robert Horry has won more than MJ, if we're going along with the delusion that "rings" are an individual accomplishment.
Ok... to be labeled "GOAT" is based on winning and your dominance in that era. I don't think Horry dominated anything. As a matter of fact, I don't think China James has dominated his error. Winning..can you win, or in leflops case, lose without excuses.
@@def1st289 Yeah, I don't think that anybody would say that Horry was anywhere near MJ's league, but it does illustrate that "winning" in a team sport cannot be attributed to a single player. And it is noteworthy that even during the one complete season that MJ wasn't with the Bulls, they were still a pretty good team. But I can't see any argument that James hasn't dominated his era. Over the past 20 years, who has been better? Jordan fans would be better served acknowledging how good LBJ has been instead of making up absurd arguments that he's some kind of failure.
Honestly I have a hard time putting LeBron ahead of Bird, Magic and Kobe Imo those guys were certified winners and always fought their ass of to win games LeBron has too much quit for my liking I still have him 2nd All Time because of his stats and longevity but I honestly don't think he has an argument with Mike Jordans career was a thing out of a fairy tale, getting into the league and learning from Bird and Magic and than dominating a decade And also LeBron jumps teams too much All the all time greats have a team that comes hand in hand with their identity Jordan(Bulls), Magic(Lakers), Bird(Celtics), etc. Imo making a team that drafted you a dynasty is something truly great icons do, and Bron hasn't done that
There's a few people in front of him! He might not be in top 10 just because win lose record in championships. You going hold against wilt do the same for LeBron. Scoring record that's a longevity record wilt 14yrs jabbar I think 20yrs LeBron 20yrs
@@generalkenobi066I always said that LeBron’s true team was Cleveland. Unfortunately, the closest thing he had to a dynasty was in Miami, but even then, Miami respects D Wade more
So JeBronys; stats matter more than rings, huh? To a degree, I agree, so here's one. Michael Jordan is the only player in NBA history to win: -Scoring title -All-Star -First team all-pro -First team all-defensive -NBA MVP -NBA Title -NBA Finals MVP -All in a single season -He did it four times.
@@Tonto114 that's not what we're talking about but the lakers. And despite not winning chips several of the teams were all time great teams specifically the jazz. All but 2 of the 6 titles were against 60+ win teams none won fewer than 57. Also you could argue both the warriors and spurs are over-rated. And as for how the two compare it's not really much of a comparison cuz of the talent that lebron played with in his finals appearances. Also if you compare just the teams lebron beat while good teams they weren't all top notch.
@@dougdonelson9471 The video is clearly about not just the Lakers he mentioned the finals record. This was the best video you’ve put out. That Anakin skywalker clip was on point and hilarious!😂😂😂
Masterpiece of a video bro, unlike Bron's 2011 season (masterpiece of choking)
Hell last year he didn't even get a chance to choke his butt got beat into submission
Man, the editing is so on point, great editing and writing!

Sad that beeing brazillian, i don't have friends that like basketball to show them this content, because it'ts really amazing
Maybe you can put them on to basketball using dyno videos. But hey big ups to Brazil hope to visit and fight there one day (mma). Much love from the islands bro 🇯🇲🇧🇷

As a Mavs fan I was so mad that I laughed at it😂...
BROTHER! What kind of creativity is that!? Are you recording these videos all in one take? What an energy!!!
I wish I could get it one take, BUT I don't write scripts for the videos. I go off the dome where I sometimes muddle a word or 2, then just redo that particular sentence. I'm happy yo hear you enjoyed the final product.
LeBron stans lemme just say this clearly so that you can understand. LEBRON HAS BEEN SWEPT IN THE FINALS.... TWICE. That is all
Yet you fail to acknowledge that in 2007 and 2018 he took teams that didn't really belong in the Finals.
He lost both as the obvious underdog. Both of the teams that swept him were in the peaks of their own respective dynasties
@@MistahJay7 yep,ok.

I support any RUclipsr that call out LeMedia and Bronsexuals with actual facts. Thank you for publishing truth on here.
After 20 years?????? Lol 😂 😂
@@jonthomson9262 a conversion rate of one title for every 5 years isn't
anywhere near MJ - who was close to a 1:2 conversion rate over his entire Bulls tenure. Count '86 and '95 for the 1/4 season each that they were and it's 6 titles in 11 1/2 years on the Bulls.... before he retired for a second time.
@@shaft9000Shit Kobe has a higher conversion rate than Lebron as well and Kobe has faced the most competition in his conference

If a guy is THAT GOOD, then people shouldn't need to downplay EVERY NBA player EVER to make him look better.
@fatgoat3127 No doubt. MJ and LeBron, for me, are really close. But when I'm thinking of the GOAT, I'm looking for the player who can provide the most for the team. IMO, LeBron is better than Jordan in that regard.

The only argument Bron fans will be some advanced stat that no one has even heard of instead of stats that prove Michael is a better winner.
Nah. Even in advanced stat metrics, MJ leads on relevant ones like Box +/- or PERs.

Pure Unadulterated GOLD from the Commish..!
6 in 13 season. 3.5 in 20 season. 🤔😏
But remember that 2011-12 was also a shortened season as they didn't start until Christmas day due to the lockout.
In context to the video, he will never be the goat. In 20 years, Duncan, Kobe, Currys. He is a great player, but not the goat.

Honestly I have a hard time putting LeBron ahead of Bird, Magic and Kobe
Imo those guys were certified winners and always fought their ass of to win games
LeBron has too much quit for my liking
I still have him 2nd All Time because of his stats and longevity but I honestly don't think he has an argument with Mike
Jordans career was a thing out of a fairy tale, getting into the league and learning from Bird and Magic and than dominating a decade
And also LeBron jumps teams too much
All the all time greats have a team that comes hand in hand with their identity
Jordan(Bulls), Magic(Lakers), Bird(Celtics), etc.
Imo making a team that drafted you a dynasty is something truly great icons do, and Bron hasn't done that
Honestly, I have issues with putting Bron ahead of Timmy Duncan...
There's a few people in front of him! He might not be in top 10 just because win lose record in championships. You going hold against wilt do the same for LeBron. Scoring record that's a longevity record wilt 14yrs jabbar I think 20yrs LeBron 20yrs
@@CarnageMastodon shit I always forget to mention Timmy. He is a certified winner too, greates PF ever and a Spurs icon.

So JeBronys; stats matter more than rings, huh? To a degree, I agree, so here's one. Michael Jordan is the only player in NBA history to win:
-Scoring title
-All-Star
-First team all-pro
-First team all-defensive
-NBA MVP
-NBA Title
-NBA Finals MVP
-All in a single season
-He did it four times.
This is top-tier preaching! I'm joining this church!
I will debate anyone who says that bron had tougher finals opp. He did not
What teams are better than the spurs and warriors?
In terms of winning, you can't in one sentence metion team success while saying the warriors are overated. Spurs were 58 and 62. Dallas was 57. Warriors were 67, 73, 67, and 58. The worst record team he faced was OKC with 47 that was beaten in 5. Unless you have a different metric regular season, team success doesn't help the MJ clear lebrons' competition.
@dougdonelson9471 and the heat with 44 I forgot to mention.
What's really lame is how much people care about other people's opinions about who the best ball bouncer of all time is.
