Bro I watched this video 4 times. The points were soo beautifully articulated, the comedy complemented the points perfectly and the analogies used were immaculate. Well done young man, your growth shown over the past 6 months has been truly humbling. This has slowly become my favourite NBA RUclips channel and that comes from a guy who has been watching the likes of dom2k and the rest for years.

I will continue to progress and do better as I have much more work to do before I feel worthy of that.

Don’t get me wrong KD definitely has the skills and the basketball talent to be in the GOAT debate but he doesn’t have the accolades and the leadership skills which automatically disqualifies him in the conversation.
To be in the goat debate you have to be a leader of men and KD is no leader.

KD never won anything without Steph. he played with more all stars than Steph ever did and never won anything. Unless he had the Intangibles. Leadership, Accountability, Team building, he will never be in Goat conversations.
2016 (with Westbrook) CHOKED a 3-1 lead against the warriors
    2017-18 (BS rings)
2019 (imma give him a pass, legit injury happened)
    2020 (still injured)
2021 tried to be LeGM and got SUPER CHOKER James Harden who didn't even average 15ppg against the bucks.
    "BUT HE'S INJURED!!!"
If you're injured, then DON'T PLAY! I'd rather have a healthy mediocre player than an injured all star who plays like ASS.
2022 Badly spanked by the Celtics and straight out CHOKED while Warriors beat that same Celtics team in the finals
2023 Teamed up with Devin Bricker to Lose in game 6 (In an embarrassing way) against the Joker.
(The only reason why KD got them big shots was because the defense is more afraid of Curry anyway)

KD is a great player, but GOAT? I don't think so. LeBron, MJ, and Kareem for me are the 3 players that have an argument to be the GOAT. He may arguably the greatest scorer, though due to his versatility scoring the ball. But even then, I would have MJ ahead of him, and probably even LeBron. KD's still a top 15 player though in my opinion.

The point of videos like these is what a shame it is. He was loved by EVERYONE in OKC and actually took it to contenders even if he didn't manage to win. If he had stayed and the team managed to get some reliable third option he could actually have been in the GOAT conversation out of sheer scoring. That window was shut the hell down when he went to the Warriors.

      @BBallGOAT 9 месяцев назад +6

@t-god2439 Kareem has better longevity compared to Magic while having a similar peak. He has a better resume compared to Magic in my opinion. He was the all-time leading scorer for nearly 40 years until LeBron broke the record. I know most people don't consider high school and college, but Kareem is probably the GOAT of both high school and college. Kareem also won without Magic in 1971, although he did have Oscar Robertson on his team as a distant 2nd option. Also, in 1980, Kareem should have won Finals MVP over Magic despite Magic's brilliant Game 6 performance. But if you want to have Magic in the GOAT Debate over Kareem, that's fine. You can also include Duncan, if you want. I would find it hard to include Kobe in that debate, as Kobe, in my opinion, is a slightly worse version of MJ, so at best, he's 1B to MJ's 1A. But that's just my 2 cents.

Commish, this could be your 2nd greatest video! KD has/had the game to be in the convo. But we can all see something is lacking. He is better than Giannis, but we all would take the Freak over him. If KD wants to be looked at as a goat level guy he should request a trade to the pistons and lead them outta the mire they're in. But KD hasn't got the fortitude for it, and that's why he'll retire and no one will bat a eyelid. Great player, bad attitude 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇯🇲

KD's issue is that he's a pure basketball player through and through. He loves the game of basketball and only the game of basketball. He's never cared about being a leader, he's never cared about even being the best. He's relying on his natural otherworldly skills and never really did more than that. You can't be that way and expect to be in a goat convo for anything.

That’s happened over 10 times in the playoffs. End of the day It was his call he could’ve said “fuck KD run it back” but he didn’t and was even cool with adding Demarcus Cousins fresh off a 25 point 13 rebound season.
