From The Band Feel to The Aristocrats .. two GREAT discoveries for my ears with two more than amazing groups in different genres. Super to detect groups beyond splendid good!! Peters Övik Sweden
Funny 😃 I've been playing guitar for 12 years and I could reasonably remember at least 10 songs using that chord heavily but... Heeey, we're joking... 😃take it easier please (and yes, we know what this chord is called, thank you 😃)
I don’t know how much you know about guitar but Guthrie is the guitar equivalent of Marco, absolute top tier monster there really isn’t many that can play like him whatsoever, I think they make a good match
Never thought I'd say this but here goes.... it would have been a bit nicer if Guthrie had turn it down a little bit during the drum solo Just A Bit....ok, you can start throwing rocks at me now
This is exactly what music should be like. Not those shitty pop "music" they put on radio everyday. They should stop putting those things they call "music" on radio and start putting actual music in radio.
Ummmmmmm, ok. What Universe did Scotty BEAM THIS GUY...AND HIS BAND FROM?!!! I was just browsing through a Guitar World or Premier Guitar article that listed, from a group of well known Guitar GREATS...not just Famous, well respected AND FAMOUS Guitarist, their opinion who they thought were the top 10 Guitarist in TODAY'S Music scene...not of all time, but out there performing now. This guy was voted #1 by EVERY SINGLE GUITARIST!! Now, the list varied on the other 9 but all had put Guthrie Govan at the top. I tend to agree with the group of other Guitarist putting their list together. All of them compared and some even placed him ABOVE Shawn Lane. That grabbed my attention quickly because Shawn, R. I. P. my old friend, and I had known each other since I was about 9 or 10, Shawn was just a year or 2 older. For those who knew of him and his Masterpieces, that's an extremely tall order and one that I definitely don't take lightly. Those who've never heard of Shawn Lane, look him up on here. He was a Child Prodigy. Left school around the age of 13, if I can remember correctly, to start touring with Black Oak Arkansas. I don't know how I've missed this incredible Guitarist but, I'm definitely going to be doing a whole lot of BACK TRACKING to catch up on him. This man...and his Band, are definitely from another World! It's gonna be a long day today....and more than likely, throughout the Weekend.....here on RUclips finding everything I have been missing!!

Marcooooo nice attitude :) Bass is wonderful! Gutrie....no words
Guthrie is of another planet holy shit
Pretty sure he is tbh
2:02 That was a Metropolis Tribute ;D
Daniele Pipitone Just because they use the same chord (F#7 add4) doesn't make it a tribute though.
Funny 😃

@@mitchettie1581 The song on the Images & Words album :)
f'n brilliant lads..
Real power trio!!!
Wish they had cardiac monitors on during this gig… bet even their heartbeats were in sync! Man, they’re tight!
Está claro por qué son tres de los más importantes músicos de la escena Progresive Rock Jazz fussion.
Really amazing trio playing great music..
Everything about this is surprise. Throwing everything at us from all angles. It looks really hard to keep this one together. Great!!!!
Gothrie sometimes reminds me of Vai at the beginning of his career with his Strato. That trio with Stu Ham.
that 3:52 bend
You guys are having so much fun!!! And I've never seen a better bassman, and I am a pro.
Brian Beller really has become one of my favourite bassists to listen to. He's so diverse and musical.
From 4:24 oh yeah!!!!!!!
These guys re f'in' amazing!
Amazing!
So perfect
This. Is. Too. Great.
WOW!!!
Jaw dropped so long a fly established an ecosystem in my mouth😮
I could of sworn that i was listening to Andy Timmons for a minute there... 2:52 - 4:00 but then that technical shit reminded me that it was Guthrie.
That main riff reminds me of Hurry Up by Paul gilbert
Guthrie is intimately familiar with every note on the guitar!
But, can guthrie play wonderwall?
so good !!!
I love it
Çà joue ?😮😻
More than a wooow...
@9:25 "MarcoBeast"
I'm totally gonna yell hoo yaaa
YA
Guthrie Govan > all the guitarist around the world
Well, to be perfectly objective, it's a matter of... Eh fuck it, I can't deny it, that dude is a living legend. Total fangirling here
*combined
To be honest: He‘s quite good.
Eddie van did all of this first tho
He changes the standart guitar playing.. not only speed.. he show more...
oh Marco 😁
From what I've seen so far, Marco is so good that in time he'll be boerd with these guys. of not already
I think you are wrong i dont see him going anywhere else...
I don’t know how much you know about guitar but Guthrie is the guitar equivalent of Marco, absolute top tier monster there really isn’t many that can play like him whatsoever, I think they make a good match
Gracias DT por quedaros con Mangini.
Thanks DT for staying with Mangini.
OK DT Mangini KK
Sounds like someone metalized the menu music off gran turismo...
