  • Pays For Itself... the "Instant Pot SOLO" coffee machine in roughly 6 months and the "Keurig MY K-CUP" device in about 1 month...either of which allows you to make your own K- cups... (that is all dependant on whether I did the math right)...lol... y'all feel free to check my calculations... AND... those numbers are if you only drink 1 K-cup of coffee a day!!! And you can use whatever coffee you like while adjusting the amount to vary strengths!!! not only cost effective but kinda fun to experiment with!!! #jelly007 #coffee #starbucks

Interesting. Curious how this method compares in flavor to French press coffee. I have never used either of these methods.

I found those refillables are a pain to clean, maybe you have a much better technique. Washing down the sink will clog your drain quickly. I like the idea though to minimize plastic trash.
Have you ever tried an Aeropress coffee maker. They make an amazing cup of coffee and only need a small paper filter! They are easy to clean by pressing the used puck into the trash or compost bin. They are not very expensive either. The silicone plunger is replaceable too. Target used to keep them on the shelves but not sure anymore.

Great detailed review of this system however I will say K cups are for the kids table, if you really want to step your coffee game up graduate to a Delonghi magnifica. It's the Cadillac of coffee makers but push button fresh ground is amazing! All you will have to do is add beans and filtered/distilled water.

@@Albertojedi sometimes but you can’t drink a French press daily to much oils not good for you, French press is a special once or twice a week.
