Cannot agree more! Your videos are excellent and contain such great information. Your “friend” is probably not even aware of her jealousy but it is definitely jealousy. Avoid the negativity from her presence as much as you can.

Wow I used to have such a friend that wrapped negativity and jealousy into a compliment so it wouldn’t sound so rude. No real friend does that.
The headband looks great! I use the same!

😆 I’m chuckling about your friend’s comments and I’d like to reframe what she said a little. As a regular viewer, I appreciate so much that you pull your hair back and wear your headband just like I do every day to wash my face and you look like a (beautiful) regular, relatable person rather than someone producing a picture of perfection. It is refreshing that you are comfortable in your own skin and I love that you empower your viewers to feel good in our skin too, educating us that healthy skin doesn’t mean perfection. I have never thought anything you do is weird or unattractive - you are REAL and I appreciate that!!

For other sensitive girlies, it is important to know that “fragrance-free” means no scent ingredients added, whereas an “unscented” product often contains several scents to create a scent-less product.

I used the Paula’s Choice Clinical 1% Retinol for a year before asking my dermatologist for a tretinoin prescription. She prescribed tret at 0.025% and I had very little redness or peeling so was able to step up to the 0.05% tretinoin after just a month.

I’ve failed several times trying to use Tretinoin. I thought I would give it one more try using these steps. I also purchased your barrier cream. I’m excited to share that it’s going good and this is the longest I’ve ever been able to make it. Flakes and redness have been minimal and manageable. Yay!

Girl you should see me I have the head band, ponytail, the arm bands, and a wrap around robe hate to get my clothes wet and my arms wet. I look like a hot mess but it is part of my routine. 1 month on the naturium and love it could not tolerate tretinoin I just could not deal with the peeling any more. It does not look good at all when makeup is scaling off your face I was done.

I use the Naturium as well! Just purchased the .10 and working my way to every day use. Now every other and have done great. I haven’t had to do the sandwich method as my skin has tolerated! I haven’t gotten any dryness or flaking. Probably going to ask my dermatologist for a prescription next! Thanks for a fabulous video ❤

I’m in Australia and using QV Face range, I can’t tolerate tret, but Medik8 Crystal Retinal 1 is my vitamin A, I don’t know if I’ll go higher, favourite first cleanse is currently The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser.

Thanks for the routine and all the good tips! For my rosacea and combination skin I' m currently loving the Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Oil, Cerave's foaming cleanser, Revox's azelaic acid and The Ordinary's Buffet peptide serum occasionally, Cerave's Resurfacing Retinol Serum twice a week and Cetaphil's Redness Control cream. My skin is really sensitive, but I never had issues with any of these products so far, even though I still don't dare using retinol more often. 🙈

Ironically I just used a new “treatment cream” which my skin decided wasn’t for it and I am flaking like I did years ago when first getting used to my tretinoin LOL. - Stratia Lipid Gold - my holy grail product for skin barrier support
    - Pretty much any product with centella asiatica but my current fave is the Selfless by Hyram cleanser

My skin hates most petrochemicals. In place of petrolatum, I use shea butter. My skin is so darn sensitive, that I use a moisturizer that contains a calming ingredient (e.g., oat or cica) before applying a retinoid. I have dry skin, so I use a heavier moisturizer on top of the retinoid. Even being ultra cautious and using a tiny amount of a retinoid, my skin won’t tolerate it more than three times a week. The same is true for vitamin C, azelaic acid, and Bakuchiol. Every time I try to add a day of any of them, my skin feels burnt. I really don’t want to try again for a very long time if ever.
