this was a freaking amazing tutorial. No nonsense, to the point, and covered all the little details. I'll definitely be going back through this step by step when i do renders
I was strolling happily along your tutorial until 3:16 min when I realized I don't have the assets you're using (windows and such). Bummer..When I get good enough to make my own windows, I hope to come back and finish this tutorial, which is very well explained by the way.
Hey Jeff, the way I typically achieve this effect, is to make the softbox or light source out of basic shapes, and then apply the 'Glow' material to them. Then from the material properties you can actually adjust the 'Glow' percentage to control the light falloff. Also, if you need to go for a higher percentage than the slider allows, enter the higher value and press Enter, this value then becomes the new maximum percentage :)
Amazing work as always Dansky. Learning new stuff everytime, think I'll try out Dimension after your few videos this weekend. When you opened XD and I saw the font I was like "I need this font!" the (Create your space). Could you please let me know the name of it? Thanks!
Awesome Dansky love your clean and beautiful 😍 explanation. Will you help me to know Danksy what kind of different things i can do with adobe dimension. In which field Adobe dimension can be used.
Dimension is great for anyone looking to get started with 3D and doesn’t take too long to learn the software in its entirety. It’s also useful for designers who want to leverage 3D to present their 2D designs (web, print etc.) as a fully realised concept, that more representative of the final result, eg. seeing a pattern for a packaging design actually mocked up on the product itself, rather than just a pattern with no context 😊
Is there a way to get higher quality renders? Even when rendering at highest option, the quality still isn't optimal when opening in PS. Is it the same for you? Does Dimension even have the capability of rendering out at 300dpi?
Hey Andrew, you can select the canvas and increase the 'Resolution' and pixel dimensions of the document. The render will take a bit longer, but it will be larger and also much higher quality 😊
GPU rendering is for NVIDIA cards only at the moment to my knowledge, and my Macbook Pro uses AMD, so there was no GPU rendering available for this video.
