    Such an awesome video: dude breaks down the design aspect, the sizing, dimensions, etc. It’s easy to follow, clear direction in the steps he takes. Video isn’t to long where u can’t finish it and he doesn’t ramble on and on. I’m surprised more people haven’t check it out!

    I love the Dimension to XD workflow. Is there any way you could do a video on how to do something similar to what’s displayed in this video only with parallax scrolling? Like the elements in the 3D scene shift as you scroll? I figure you just export the separate layers in photoshop, place them in XD, then shift the positions and auto-animate them. Could still make for a cool video.

    I am a fresher devloper and very good at backend but OK in frontend if this is image then why make navbar and buttons you have to make all buttons and menubar by css or you made just so you know where to place all things in css
    Edit: this is just a fix image so you have to make more images like this for phones right?
    BTW it was soo good video and soo mush easy to understand loved it

    As always great design videos. If possible can we get a walkthrough on Adobe Dimension interface again because it looks quite different from last time and I really want to learn more about it so I can use it in my projects. Lastly, is Adobe Dimension at a level where u can model complex things like a Car? Since the shape of a car has more bumps so I don't know if we can create those things in the current Dimension.

    • @CalerEdwards
      @CalerEdwards  3 года назад

      Thanks! I will see what I can do :D
      Also its has basic shape customization. I would say a car would be almost impossible with the current version. I hope they add more for modeling but for now I would recommend Blender for modeling cars and more complex elements.

    Do you think Adobe Dimension and Vectary are enough for making 3D illustrations and animations for websites/apps? In which use case should I switch to C4D or Blender?

    • @CalerEdwards
      @CalerEdwards  3 года назад +1

      I would use Blender/C4D for modeling or animation. I use Dimension for still 3d images only or quick concepts before diving into blender. My hope is that Dimension allows us to do more modeling in the future but I am not sure if they will ever allow animation, if so I think it will be awhile at least.

    • @Iconisms
      @Iconisms 3 года назад

      What you see in this video is not design. This is just placing things on a page and showing how to technically use a software. Design is a long process of asking, thinking, experimenting, doing, and solving. Visualising is just one part of design (and even that part needs to have a long process to get it right).

    • @theharrypeter_xd1237
      @theharrypeter_xd1237 3 года назад

      @@Iconisms I know. But developing is a long process than that

    • @CalerEdwards
      @CalerEdwards  3 года назад

      I would still call it design but the entire process is far from captured in a tutorial. There is so much more to the entire design process I agree with you on that. :D

    • @Iconisms
      @Iconisms 3 года назад

      @@CalerEdwards Hi. thanks for your comment on my comment :). I'm not saying that aligning things to a grid, consider spacing, scale and colours are not part of the design process, but to call that design in this tutorial context make others raise a question about design and the purpose of it (it looks very easy to use softwares when there's no real brief with a problem to solve). From my point of view based on the comments I read on other software tutorials, that makes many young people think that design is your software skills. I think that in most software tutorials the term design needs to be replaced with visualising/visual. For example, '3D Illustration Website visualisation using Adobe Xd & Adobe Dimension - Tutorial'. Keep the good work, I do enjoy your tuts.
