I've got a PBY to build so this video and your easy instructions really make me wanna try it out. Thanks

I’d definitely give it a go. It’s a straight forward build and makes a more unusual plane. Thanks for the feedback- appreciated 👍

Wow, I've always liked water scenes! However the who;e process has scared me away. Your project has given me some inspiration and hope. I may need to go out and get me a PBY and give it a go, Thanks🙏

Very nice. I've seen Marklin do that and I have yet to try it. I have tried the aluminum foil method and it works for me

Thank you yes it’s just papier-mâché really. There’s lots of different methods of making the sea I haven’t done the foil method yet. Thanks for the feedback- happy new modelling year 👍

Thanks. Again, a great job. I’m building the PanAm Clipper soon, so I think I’ll have a go at making a diorama for it. Cheers

Thank you. Lovely plane and would look really good on the sea diorama. Honestly it was so easy but it used a whole bottle of the glossy sea blue though!

Very enjoyable watching the diorama come to life, it looks very good. When you say cotton, what sort of cotton is this and where did you source it? Great modelling by the way!

Thank you for your comments- the cotton was out of the wife’s makeup drawer 😂 just wipes she uses for makeup any would do I think just pull it apart and fluff it up 👍

Add a little of salt between the foils to glue, and they don' t slip. ( A carpenter/ modeller). Cheers.
