Hi Melissa! LAX airport itself does not offer luggage storage, however, there are several companies that offer it, such as laxluggagestorage.com/. Essentially they pick up your luggage after you arrive and bring it back to the airport when you need it. You could maybe also check with your airline to see if they can potentially store it for you, but I'm not sure about that. Hope this helps.
You need buy tap card for $2. If you are senior. 75 cent rush hours. Non rush hour 35 cent 1 way from LAX to downtown LA used C lines connected to A line. The silver line will cost more
If you want to use public transportation rather than ride share or taxi, I would walk to the 96th / Sepulveda bus stop. Hop on the CC 6 Sepulveda Blvd., UCLA-Westwood bus. At the Sepulveda Blvd./Santa Monica Blvd. you'll have to switch buses. Cross over to the Santa Monica / Sepulveda bus stop and hop on bus 4 Downtown LA - Broadway - Venice. Get off at the Santa Monica/Wilshire bus stop and you're in Beverly Hills. This will take you about 1 hr 15 mins (could be more due to traffic) and cost $2.75.
Hi Brianna! For public transportation (buses): exit your terminal and look for the PINK LAX SHUTTLE SIGN on the lower arrivals level and board the LOT SOUTH/LAX CITY BUS CENTER shuttle. Once you’re at the LAX City Bus Center, take the CC6R RAPID UCLA-WESTWOOD BUS to SEPULVEDA/SANTA MONICA BLVD. After getting off the bus, cross over Santa Monica Blvd to the Santa Monica/Sepulveda bus station on the other side and board BUS 4 DOWNTOWN LA-BROADWAY-VENICE. That bus will take you into West Hollywood. All in all this should take you about 1 1/2 hours. Of course it can be longer depending on traffic. Alternately, you can check supershuttle.com and see how much a shared ride shuttle to your destination would be. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.
That was really informative. Which is the best way to get to Ventura from LAX. After watching your vid it seems looks like a bus to the northern terminal and then a taxi ?
Glad you found the video informative. Thanks for the feedback! If you want to take a taxi, you can take it from either inside the parking structure 3 between Tom Bradley Int'l Terminal and Terminal 3, at the far end of Terminal 7 or from the LAX-it lot where you could also get an Uber or Lyft. And yes, there are buses that can take you there. Alternately, you could also take a shuttle - the Ventura County Airporter Shuttle (venturashuttle.com/). That one you would board at the outer island where the orange sign "Shared Rides" is. Hope this helps.
@@triptipswithchris You just solved my issue ...Ventura Shuttle gets me right outside the Hotel. Really helpful. Thanks and good luck with your channel.
There are more payment options when using the Flyaway bus. You can use a TAP card, a metroLink fare card, or the driver will let you buy a ticket from the ticket machine at the bus stop in Van Nuys or Union Station.
Hello, I want some information about how to reach the site of "Little House on the Prairie" from LAX airport. How much does it cost if l use a taxi? Or is there any other public transportation such as public bus or train to get there? Thank you ❤
Hi, that’s in Simi Valley, right? It would be very expensive from LAX. I would take the Flyaway bus to Van Nuys and then from there with taxi or ride share to Simi Valley.
Hi, you could take the FlyAway Bus (or Shuttle and Metro) to Union Station and then the Metrolink 91 Perris Valley Line to Corona. However, not sure what time you land. Make sure to check the schedule for the train. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks for the info. Not confident about changing transportation as I will be traveling alone with luggage. Would you suggest taking an Uber? Is it safe? But since I do not have a US number I will need a US sim card. Been searching on YT and the sim cards at LAX are too expensive.
@@shoegal0783 Yeah, I use Uber quite a bit and never had an issue. If you're not comfortable with Uber, you could also take a taxi. You could also check Super Shuttle and see how much that would be. It's been a while since I've taken one, but when I did, it all worked out well. When I had international visitors in the past, they always got a sim card from T Mobile. It's cheaper than the ones at the airport.
My young son is on his first flight into LAX & isn’t familiar with airports. Does anyone happen to know how to get from terminal 37 to baggage claim & then to go out & find someone who’s picking you up? The person picking him up said he would be by column 3 A but I thought everything was color coded so I’m a little confused on that part. Thank you!! He will land in a little over 3 more hours so if you see this please let me know. Thank you!!!!
There are many signs that will lead him to baggage claim. He won’t have a problem finding that. It’s very easy. In regards to the columns, pause my video at 1:14 and you’ll see a column with “4H” on it. That was at terminal 4. Your son will see the same on the columns at terminal 3. It will have the number 3 and then he’ll just need to look for 3A if that’s where the driver will pick him up. Hope this helps.
LAX isn't one of the worst airports in the world. Not even close. They aren't spending all that money improving, remodeling and expanding literally everything to not improve anything. Anyway, once the People Mover is finished that will connect to the Metro K line extension, getting downtown will be easier, better and more pleasant than dealing with the Green (C) Line in the middle of the freeway and then the Blue (A) Line to downtown and beyond.
As of now, I think it is one of the worst. The traffic in and around the airport is a nightmare. I agree about the improvements and am happy things are finally being addressed. In my opinion these kind of improvements, such as the people mover, should have happened 20-30 years ago. I just think they are way behind with those kind of projects considering it’s one of the busiest airports. So yeah, I’m looking forward to the projects being completed and hopefully making it easier to get to, from and around the airport.
@@triptipswithchris I haven't been to LAX for years but everything at SFO airport is way easier. Exit the international customs area follow some signs to an escalator & walk about 200 meters in total, and you're at the BART train station with a choice of two lines. Both of which go to downtown SF & beyond.
@@brentsummers7377 yeah totally agree. I lived in SF for a bit and loved how the airport is connected with the city via the BART. Super easy as you said. LAX is finally working on getting the airport connected to the metro along with a new people mover, but they just recently announced it won't be done before 2025. Hopefully that will make things much better.
Yeah, exactly. That will make it much better. Should have happened a long time ago in my opinion. Traffic has been a nightmare in and around the airport. Looking forward to the metro connection and people mover.
I might come to Los Angeles again. Maybe about 6 months before the Olympics or six months after the Olympics, but not until those new train lines are operating. It's all very well having all these bus connection options now but traffic can ruin it all. Heck, even 30 years ago bus drivers operating transfers to the airport warned passengers about the possible delays.
There's a wealth of good information here. 😀
