Hi @lesleyrobertson2152 I try to show items at various price points because I am aware that not everyone has a travel budget that includes expensive bags. The trick is find nice budget bags that are made well, too. So far, my daughter and SIL love these bags. They use them for ski trips. Thanks for watching!
I liked how you packed the lower compartment. That seems to make a steady base for the bag. I think I’d go for,the last bag because it is bigger and leaves wiggle room. Unfortunately, that also give you room to bring too much home. I also like the wider opening.
Hi @karenhenderson5726 ! Exactly! So many people overpack, only to come home and have to put away half a suitcase of clothing they never wore. All you have to do is think about your itinerary and pack accordingly!
Thanks so much for actually measuring the bags. I assumed that they measured what is in the description. I recently was on an airline where the personal item measurements were 16x13x6. It sounds like I would have had more options than I thought based on the real measurements of some of the bags you bought.

The first is that the sizes in the descriptions on Amazon are not accurate, and the second (from what you said) is that it is so important to check out what your baggage allowances are for each airline before you travel. No one likes an unexpected problem at check in or at the gate.

Hi @quiltbugj The bags weighed 15 and change with my computer and without 13 and change (the third bag weighed slightly more). I think you may be right about backpacks, but they are not for everyone, and they cost more... even Amazon ones.
The Everfunbag on Amazon is listed at $23.99 now and dimensions are different than shown in this video: 8.25 x 3.5x 18.5. Is there a different bag than this?thanks
Hi @deborahholt5126, I just checked the link in my description, and it's the right bag. And *WOW,* it's on a big sale. I just checked the bag size, and it says 18.5 x 8.25 x 13.6, which was different when I measured it. Go by what my video says.

I actually kept the last 2 bags, since they only cost me $35 and I can use them not only for travel. That last one is the bomb for travel though. Using it to go to Cali to visit my daughter and SIL.
Hi @cdewey5115 I have not tried the BagSmart garment duffel. It looks like a fun bag. The one thing that I have to warn you about these kinds of bags is that they will not pass as a personal item. They are too large.
I have the WandF 18x14x8 backpack which has much more accurate dimensions, plus padded shoulder straps and back, and several pockets (one is waterproof); but it's about $40

If a soft body bag measuring 8 inches wide will become a 10 inch bag when filled, its a good thing you got bags that are only 6 inches
