I have been on Tirzepatide lowest amount from compounding pharmacy for 2.5 months. I have lost 22 lbs. I have 8 lbs more to go. It really does take your appetite away. So much so I sometimes forget to eat. 😂 The only side effect I have had is dizziness and fatigue. The doctor said I need to increase my protein so have started with a protein shake in the morning and it has helped the fatigue. The dizziness is from low blood sugar which has improved somewhat with the protein shake. I am very happy with the results and am so thankful I can afford the medication. If you can, go for it!

I'm taking wegovy (prescribed by a doctor). It's been 3 months and only lost 10 pounds. My doctor has now prescribed zepbound (she believes that this will work better for me). I'll take my first dose next week. I'm paying out of pocket and using the injectable pen. So, my doctor suggested that I try a compounded version of zepbound. I'm worried about two things: having to inject myself using a needle instead of a pen and I'm a little leary about the compound meds. Such as what's really in the medication and how sterile is the environment that the medicine is produced in. I've never even held a syringe. How do you learn how to load the syringe correctly and inject myself (I have always been extremely scared of getting shots). Now, I'm considering giving myself a shot.😮
