I had great success on Wegovy and lost 60 pounds. I am 4ft 10in and 60 extra pounds on me is quite a bit. That being said, I retired and Medicare does not cover weight loss meds so I went off it and immediately gained half of it back despite gym and walking routine. My MD ordered the compounded medication for me and I will be starting back soon for 170.00 per month. I am so glad to have this resource. Your video was very informative. Wish me luck.
Thank you for the very informative video. I just had an appointment with my doctor today asking some of these questions. They won’t prescribe that way but was not objecting for me to find it on my own safely. I wanted to know about it in pill form. What are your thoughts and suggestions to find it safely. Thanks you. Brian.
@@adammorra3813 I just took my first injection of trezepitide. Henry Meds has been great to work with. The meds came quickly and the NP I spoke with took all the time I needed to answer all my questions. My first injection was last Sunday, today is Wednesday. I’m down 2 lbs, probably water but I’ll take it.
Do you have any tips on finding reputable prescribers for compounded terzepatide? I have a zepbound prescription, but my insurance won’t cover it. I was thinking of trying compounded before I spend $700 out of pocket. TYIA!
I read just in August 2024 that these drugs have been taken off the shortage list, is it true then we won’t be able to get a prescription from a compound pharmacy? I’m now visiting Peru South America and they offer the GLP injectables here for just over $200/mo. Thank you doctor for helping provide affordable meds!!!

@@ChristyRisingerMD that didn’t answer my question. For example, we know that one of the ways this drug functions is by slowing down the digestive tract. And how many non human animals were harmed in order to produce this drug?

I'm surprised you didn't mention looking for pcab accreditation. (Pharmacy compounding accreditation board.) Do you think this is a useful credential to check in a compounding pharmacy?
My doctor has prescribed this for me but prescribed it has a sublingual version. It is through my local compounding pharmacy. I’m trying to get past the taste 😅
Enjoy it while you can. Within a year it will not be available - legally - within about a year. Once the name brand can meet production - patents will prevent copies from being made. We may all be paying $1300 a month or going to China.
My doctor has a "$100 processing fee" to prescribe this. Doctor's visit, bloodwork, all other cost are factored in when you pay at end of visit.
