Thanks Jason. Let me know if you need more information. I tried to keep it as light as possible. There are numerous ways to go about fixing these problems. It's important to find the right tool for the job.
@@ArghanionsPuzzlebox 100%. I got the results I was hoping for from the video you sent me. Im definitely going to go back and work on setting up my UV islands based on what you were saying.
Thanks for the tutorial. I just think that the background music was way louder than your voice and I found that quite distracting, other than that, thanks for the info.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll decrease the volume next time.
Super 👌🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
i couldn't hear what you were saying because of the background music.
Please please please equalize your audio. voice should be in both channels. do this easy in any video editor.
Other wise thank you for showing how to do this. great tutorial. subbed
Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it, not sure why this wouldn't be the case from the software I'm using.
@@ArghanionsPuzzlebox it could just be a case of turning up left channel on your voice over, as the left is the lower of the two volumes. Music comes through the left quite loudly and voice on the right is about the right level. But because they are vastly different levels it's quite disconnecting. But over all the video is great and shows everything any one needs. It's just the audio levels on left and right volumes that could need adjusting. Once that's right, your videos will be spot on. Really enjoyed your content and the quality of your walk through.
Really appreciate the feedback. I'll put more effort in the audio going forward as you are completely right on this. Really glad the content helped you and if you need any help with a project, let me know, I'll do what I can 😊
@@ArghanionsPuzzlebox thank you kindly. Like wise I'm always around if you need some help also. I have lots of skills, I'm happy to share some knowledge. I subbed your account I'm looking forward to more of your videos ! Btw it's great to see that you engage with your viewers. Very rare these days and it's super refreshing to see someone like me that can take a comment and put it into action. Being able to accept advice and changi ngf something will make you not just a good creator. But an awesome one. That's the difference between staying okay at your job, and being the best. Really looking for more. And if you ever need some pre release advice or constructive criticism to help you get more viewers. Just shoot me a message and I'll watch it for you. Take notes and let you know what I find. a little bit of free quality control point from a viewers perspective. Talk soon friend.
Will definitely get more feedback from you for some of my future releases. At the minute I haven't added more content as I am working on a shot scifi movie and it's taking up all my free time. But I will be releasing some tutorials with things I've learned along the way.
I definitely enjoy to be able to bounce ideas with other people, it always shapes a better product when more perspectives are added into the mix.
Good tutorial but my seams are coming from the baked normal map. I have 7 fill layers blending different colours and normal data for my asset but the seams from the UV islands are still showing in the normal map no matter what I do.
Have you tried adding a triplanar material on top of the entire mesh and using a generator mask for UV seams? It might fix your issue.
@@ArghanionsPuzzlebox I think I did actually but I'll try again. It didn't seem to affect my normal map whatsoever but maybe I did it wrong. Where would this new layer be positioned on the stack? At the top or at the bottom?
Nice tutorial, thank you. Music is a bit to loud so your voice id nor clean clear
Glad you found it useful and thanks for the feedback. I think I fixed my sound issues in my newer videos 🎉
13:09 I don't get the option
Not sure if anything has changed in the newest version of Substance Painter but that should still be there.
Couldn't hear you at all over the music, especially in the second half of the video, when the music gets even louder.
Sorry about this. Please join discord and I can help there. I vastly improved my microphone from then to now.
Bad tutorial, does not fix nothing.
I'm sorry you think that way. Many people have found loads of good info here.
@@ArghanionsPuzzlebox no problem, anyway. Thanks for your time.
