How did neither of them know the whole “shiny voltorb is a great ball” thing? That’s like one of the first fun facts about shiny Pokémon that everyone always shares.
Regular voltorb is a pokeball, shiny voltorb is a great ball, and shiny HISUI voltorb is (color scheme) an ultra ball. We need another new regional voltorb for the master ball now
About that Lurantis. I 100% believe it was an accident. He was talking about how he wanted to buy skins for A and C so he definitely knew they weren't real. I guess he just wanted purple Lurantis so much that his brain just blanked.
Ive only been playing pokemon since like 2013 and im the same, I find it kind of surprising I can recognise 99.9% of shiny pokemon yet actual shiny hunters cant.
Got every single one right, but I have a confession: on Comfey’s how I got it right was looking at the shading on the changed flower. It looked too muddy on the cool colors, and looked too pink on the purple. Color theory is absolutely the GOAT y’all-
@@SilverDungeoneer the way i see it is the same way many people view music theory. some people just have an eye or an ear for it and can figure things out naturally, others can't and have to learn the appropriate theory for it and use various tools to assist themselves.

For Garbodor I was leaning between B and D when I saw that Noki had made a tiny mistake while editing the shinys. I saw that for the 2 little colored spots on the bottom of Garbador had a tiny outline of the correct color for the spots which had shown me the right shiny.
I got Garbador really easily because I love the shiny and the teal/turquoise colors between D and B were slightly different but I realized that B wasn’t exactly the right shade of turquoise.
I’ve just started getting into Pokémon games. I never watched the show as a kid so figuring everything out has been a joy. I finished the story to bdsp and went right into PLA. I love watching your videos, especially the master ball series! Amazing work
I got 14 points. Everything was SO EASY until Master level, where I got (I'm sorry, Noki) Froslass and Garbodor wrong. I am INCREDIBLY surprised that I got Comfey right and I am so happy. This was great, thanks for the challenge, Noki!

Yay another noki upload. I can also tell this was going to be a fun video when they both got the first question wrong. I got frosslass right as I caught a shiny alpha yesterday and named it noki. I also got the indoor straight away as I have a full box of them shiny in arceus. I also dig the persona music in the outro
I'll be honest, I was never a fan of shiny hunting youtube channels, but I was bored last night, one of your vids was reccomended and I watched like all em and immediately subbed. Great content, it's much more fun than just regular shiny hunting.
Loved this! Though for avid Shiny Hunters like myself, this was still too easy... I think if you were to do a part 2, you should have it be about the original Shinies that later got changed, and maybe having some more scarce Shinies ,like the ones that barely change or some unknown Shinies like Magearna etc.

Dude, I got a perfect score! And I was super hype when Flygon showed up, because it was my first shiny ever, so that was easier than easy for me. It was babby mode freebie, I love Flygon. This was so much fun to play along with, though, since some of the later ones did get me to think at least before getting it right.

Yes, I got them all right! I was really nervous for a few of them, though, and the only reason I knew both Butterfree and Comfey was because Pokémon Ultra Moon is my main hunting ground, and I happen to own both of them! It also helps knowing that shiny Comfey's flowers are the same on both the shiny and the regular version. One thing I thought was a bit funny was that you used a male Butterfree for the "original" image, but used a female Butterfree for the shinies.
That garbador almost got me. I was really stuck between B and D but as soon as I noticed the slightly brighter blue on D I knew which it was. That was by far the hardest one.
I legitamately got 100% and only started to struggle with Bidoof! Definitely thought Garchomp or Gengar would show up, but still a great quiz and amazing fake shinies all around!
I got 100% but if there were types of Pokemon like gigantimaxes or megas I would have failed miserably.also the bidoof wasn't that hard but I think u did good

Might drop some trivia for the confused players (like 5 months late but whatever). 1) Voltorb's designed after a Pokeball, meant to be a 'mimic' type of creature disguised as items in the older games. Its blue coloration is based off the Great Ball, the upgraded version to the Pokeball. This is also true forElectrode, Foongus, and Amoonguss. 2) Latios is naturally blue as it is the male, and Latias is naturally red as it's the female in the pair.

Huntail my beloved, the orange and aqua look so good together in the shiny form but the regular form is perfect as well! The more vibrant orange and sky blue contrast perfectly and I really like the orange around the white.

got every answer right years of shiny hunting in pixelmon are flexing/riding my pokemon payed off... until i was over confident on the blue nosed bidoof still 15/16 i beat them both had 2 70/30 and one 80/20 as well as 1 educated guess on the frosslas(pink ribbon and one´s ice was way too vibrant)

Tied with Mimik if you include the bidoof round. Proud of that. Ones I got wrong were Aron (thought normal Aron had red eyes and knew they changed so I guessed A) Bronzor (thought the eyes would change from red for the shiny so I chose B), and Bidoof (I thought his nowse was blue so I chose D).
This was hilariously painfully… xD but I loved it so much!! I got all of them right. I will say, a curveball was thrown at Comfey but I guessed correct!!

Lol, the fact that literally no one knew that huntail existed is very funny to me. To be fair until recently I didn’t know huntail was a real Pokémon, just thought it was a fan made Pokémon but it funny that the shiny hunters had never seen huntail before :)

Going back to this one after everything, seeing the Voltorb one again was like a PTSD flashback.
got every answer right years of shiny hunting in pixelmon are flexing/riding my pokemon payed off... until i was over confident on the blue nosed bidoof still 15/16 i beat them both had 2 70/30 and one 80/20 as well as 1 educated guess on the frosslas(pink ribbon and one´s ice was way too vibrant)
I wish the white and purple metagross was real

Just like Noki said, there would be someone going on about Bidoof... I have an entire box of shiny alpha Bidoof in Legends Arceus, so I knew immediately
Tied with Mimik if you include the bidoof round. Proud of that. Ones I got wrong were Aron (thought normal Aron had red eyes and knew they changed so I guessed A) Bronzor (thought the eyes would change from red for the shiny so I chose B), and Bidoof (I thought his nowse was blue so I chose D).
This was hilariously painfully… xD but I loved it so much!! I got all of them right. I will say, a curveball was thrown at Comfey but I guessed correct!!
