Yes there's collectible new Pikmin in costumes that vary based on where you get them from. There's airport, Cafe, water etc. I don't feel that the game does a good job getting you hype about new features you unlock through leveling up. But the higher level you are, the more stuff you can do and collect and expeditions etc open up. It's a great little companion for me as a dog walker!

The reason why the Pikmin was said to be from a Hair stylist is because the map is separated into grids and rectangles and each rectangle has 1 place that it is associated with.
Ahh, good info to note, thanks! I was more confused by the fact that the game was recognizing a hair salon at all, though. As I later recall, we DID have a hair salon half a block away, but that's been gone for years, so I would've figured it would be out of the "map memory", so to speak.
@@ProfessorChasGtakes awhile for them to remove or add stuff, a mural had been gone for half a year before they removed it in pokemon go

Thanks for the compliment! 😊 And I would also appreciate seeing more avatar options become available eventually. Being able to mix-and-match various clothing articles, like individual shirt and pants options, etc. Perhaps that'll come in time!

It’s a new game already gave my respective comments and four star rating on it it’s a good game but it needs more action and adventure in it like a puzzle solving missions finding little monsters and getting rewards nothing all too difficult just a simple game just to have you walk and play
Yes, this can definitely be a nice little simple side game to make use of while going for daily walks, and it certainly doesn't need to be anymore complicated than that depending on a person's play style. I have no doubt that more content will be added to it in the months to come, but it'll most likely always keep its core element of walk, count steps, plant flowers, enjoy healthy activity. :)

I'm a reg Pogo player and really want to give this a try as a walk-companion.
I'd say, give it a shot! It's free to download and try out, so there's no harm in seeing what you think of it. It doesn't need to be as immediately hands-on active as Pokemon GO (you can have Pikmin Bloom open in the background and plant flowers automatically as you walk, while using other apps), though if you're like me, you may find yourself paying more attention to Bloom at times as items pop up during your journeys. Items can always be collected after the fact, though, so no worries about missing out on anything.

Pikmin GO looks like a cute casual game. I've never played any of the Pikmin games. My only Pikmin experience is with Olimar in Super Smash Bros. I'll give this a try! :)

You're very welcome; I hope my video coverage is of good use to you! I also play Pokemon GO alongside this as well, and I've gotten pretty good at swapping back and forth on the fly. I do notice sometimes that some of my distance walked doesn't always transfer very well from game to game (I'll miss half a block of flower planting sometimes when Bloom thinks I stopped moving while switching to GO), but overall, I don't find it too much of a problem. It's fun having both on the go at the same time!

What does the special sprout do?
Do you mean the huge seedling? It will sprout a Pikmin that immediately has a decor item to wear (whereas normally a Pikmin needs to have maximum friendship to obtain their decor item).

I have this game and I have permission for the camera,yet when I use the wristle for the ar the button just disappears and I couldn't be able to play at.what am I doing wrong here?
how to name your pikmin
I am using the phonetic alphabet,
red: Alpha, Bravo,charlie, etc
yellow: Anton, Bernhard, Cornelis, etc
blue:Actor, Baker, Canteen, etc
and after zulu,zacharias,zebra etc i start with the next
It's good to have a theme like that, which will make it easier to keep a consistent nickname system going forward.
Me, I just throw whatever random name comes to mind at the time (or that I spend sometimes hours of research into to find just the perfect name for that one special Pikmin). Some of them I'm pretty proud of; others, I'm just like, "Meh, best I could think of at the time. He'll grow into it."
I think you can hatch eggs faster in Pokemon Go more quickly if you play Pikmin in the background. Or the other way around. Or both, whatever one you have more steps in will sync to the most distance you record. I can sometimes have both apps open simultaneously, but usually, one restarts the other after playing one and switching to the other. You're better to have a Gottcha, Pokeball Plus, or Go Plus running while syncing up Pikemen in the background while spreading flowers around.
I'm not sure if the walking in one game does actually affect the other (I haven't paid much attention to any correlation between the two), but in my experience, I can say that GO eggs may seem to hatch quicker because Bloom has me eager to walk a little bit more than usual - adding extra distance to my eggs and hatching them up sooner as a result. :P
Can someone tell me what’s wrong with my pikmin bloom? I was walking around in my neighborhood and saw my steps weren’t being counted, nor where my seedlings getting steps. What’s wrong?

Thanks for the video, I’ve been playing since the weekend but I’m really confused on the objectives etc. I’ll be watching your other videos soon. Also is anyone having an issue where you throw nectar gently and it goes flying off the screen?

And actually, you don't need to throw the nectar, it turns out (I was having that issue at first, figuring it worked like berries in Pokemon GO). All you need to do is tap on the nectar and drag it up, then while you hold it there, the Pikmin will run towards it and jump up to get some. You can then stop holding the nectar, and it'll just disappear (going back into your supply at the bottom).

Well I am very sorry but I deleted it after one day usage. The game is nice, nothing to say about it. But the battery drainage is so high that I can't live with this. A new phone that goes from 90% to 50% after a walk of 15.000 steps... No thanks.
Ouch, yeah, that is a significant drain. I haven't experienced the battery draining that fast in my own experience yet (and I, too, just got a new phone, roughly a few weeks ago). I wonder if other apps in the background were adding to the drain without being obvious about it.
