Man, these poor pikmin's legs must be so sore I made my pigman walk for. I think it was 24 days or 42. Can't remember but I took a trip up to Colorado and I made my pigman collect some stuff there but then we drove back to Texas and I just watched as the time to return. Got bigger and bigger as we got farther and farther away. Felt like I was abandoning them. Luckily all of the pigment I left in Colorado have since returned
Tbh Pikmin Bloom and Pokemon Go are not the same Pokemon Go is like: "hey kid, i know it's 3AM but go to the local park, there's a Woobat and a Cherrim for you to catch" Meanwhile Pikmin Bloom is like: "It looks like you walked from your school to your house and planted 500 flowers; as a reward, here's a yellow pikmin with a bottle cap for your squad"
I think you underestimated Pikmin Bloom's strengths AND weaknesses. When I play Pokémon Go, I find Pokémon I've seen anywhere else, gyms I've seen anywhere else, and stops I've seen anywhere else. When I play Pikmin Bloom, I put conscious thoughts to where I'm going. There's a park and a library here, but I could walk past this pizza joint, and I analyze the regions of my town. Pokémon Go also punishes players for not being in areas with high Pokéstops, where Pikmin Bloom is more generous about where you play despite the rewards it grants in specific areas. Pikmin Bloom's coin system, however, is atrocious. I go on a walk and get two coins. I pop a Pokémon at a gym and get fifty at the end of the day. And a Pikmin expansion costs over twice as much as a Pokémon expansion. Now add Ice Pikmin so I have a reason to walk to that park and pizza parlor and library. I already got everything and I don't have reasons to visit them again.
how in the world do you get two coins on a walk? in like 5 minutes i typically get 2. unless your squad is not full I don't think you're doing something right

There's so much potential for a battle system ! Here's one idea: You could find enemies (with an indicator in case you need a certain Pikmin type to beat it) that spawn depending on the weather or other factors. For example, Fiery Bulblaxes could spawn in the summer and Breadbugs near restaurants. You could fight them in a RPG system: during your turn, you choose what type to use depending on their abilities and statistics and throw as many Pikmin as you can in a short period of time (throwing would look like it does with Poké Balls in Pokémon Go) while trying to aim for the enemy's weakpoint, with charging being some sort of super attack you charge up across multiple turns. Also the game isn't just getting flowers they are adding events and new decor pikmin like all of the time shaking my head smh.
Nintendo was feeding Pikmin fans this decade by giving them the appetizer of Pikmin Bloom, the entre of Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and the main course of Pikmin 4
I never picked up Bloom for the same reason I couldn't get into GO: I live in a rural area lol. The nearest city is a two-hour drive from my house. Even if I drive 15 minutes to open the Pokemon GO app in town, I've never seen more than 3 or 4 Pokemon spawn at a time (And they're always several blocks from each other) I would love to play Bloom, and I would love to play Go, but it's just straight-up not an option for me. It really sucks when tech companies forget that farmers exist :\
I have played bloom since it came out, and have played it every day. The game is extremely enjoyable, and I don't think it's going to close any time soon. I don't understand why it gets so much hate. (heavily dislike that so many of things points in the video are literally just your opinion and not fact whatsoever)
When i heard about the game i thought it was going to be like Pokemon Go and have you walk to “caves” to send pikmin in and conquer them. And randomly find treasure or hostiles to fight or collect
honestly I really liked the game and wanna get back into it when I have a phone that doesn't have complete garbage battery life. the thing that really got me was that it like never asked me to pay with microtransactions directly, and none of the seasonal stuff seems to be purely time gated or have real folo cause I can just get it next year, a good option given how much rng the seasonal decor pikmin had, I never got too far into the gameplay loop though so its possible that it gets worse like you said I do wish it had more going for it, or they'd update more of the gameplay, it has a lot more potental and ideas that could make it actually feel like a pikmin game and not a pikmin themed fitness app
I’ve never played pikmin bloom but I choice the blue pikmin with the Mario hat as my profile picture And I’ve using it for 2 years so I’ve got that to thank it for
I wouldn’t mind a war update to the game. Like position you pikmin in different ways to attack the creatures in the franchise. Then you could get the ice or glow pikmin. Now this might be a bad idea but some sort of treasure map could be put in place. Say you get it from the mushroom and it tells you to explore a special flower or random location. Once at that location your team will fan out until they find another clue or item from the series stuck inside the ground. These items can be added like a collection or something, seeing how the original games olimar is really small they could just be nick knacks. Then you could have a sort of hoard in the game of things you have collected, some being rare and others being really rare yk
Something I really like about pikmin Bloom is that I can use my mii from My Nintendo, I made my mii look really cute and it seems like nobody else knows how to do that or just chooses to make their mii look like themselves but it really makes myself stand out without having to buy accessories. I use that trick with the eyebrows to make it look like I have cat ears. I made my hair pink and I gave my Mii a really cute cat face like :3
I enjoy Pikmin Bloom just to see what my steps were that day. The map also shows every area I have visited by foot highlighted in green. I find the gameplay aspect not so special. They could had really made this game close to how the actual games are. Instead of your pikmin wearing treasure from gifts, they just find treasure instead. They should of had raids like Pokemon Go where you get certain treasures from defeating enemies based on its star rank. The higher the rank the better the treasure and the more, but easier for your pikmin to be wiped out. Your pikmin will permanently die, and you will need to grow new ones. Instead of bulbs your pikmin will gather pellets and enemies like in the actual game to rebuild. The more places you visit the more resources you can obtain. And I guess you can get more storage for your pikmin by micro transactions or earning by planting flowers, but maybe also the raids and whatever your treasure is worth. And Dandori Battles, I guess it can be like how gyms are in Pokémon Go.
I personally don’t think the game is going anywhere anytime soon, but I view this game like Mario Kart Tour, that game is literally done receiving content, but they’re going to keep it up for money, you know there are going to be dumb kids who think the only way to get anything out of the game is to buy things. But I have a soft spot for this game, this game was probably many peoples first exposure to Pikmin (being a mobile game and all), whether it is or isn’t like the main series games. And I honestly do prefer this game to POGO, which has been slowly dying for me ever since the Remote Pass price inflation. Plus unlike POGO, the game lets you get past flowers, and special decor Pikmin by re-releasing them every now and then. But yeah i personally prefer this over POGO, and don’t think its really going anywhere.
I like Pikmin Bloom. It's the one game I can play with my mom and my sis. :) As you've said, there is not much to do in the app, but sitting together and compare the Pikmion you've already got is actually quite nice. In addition it's the first game that showed me that I actually have a ramen store in my town and thats awesome!
Its now 8 months on since release of this video. The only thing they've added are tones of decore pikmin and zero free storage upgrades. I'm stuck and cant get more space and coins are slow to acquire...why cant i fight enemies???
I play pikmin bloom and I’m forever confused on why they didn’t add treasures. The collectable aspect was already there in the main lines. I’m not complaining about the cute decor pikmin, tho.
but dude.... pikmin is WHOLESOME.... we cant bring any of the console game elements into the mobile app to create a unique and entertaining experience because pikmin is WHOLESOME............ i remember hyping myself up when it was announced because i thought there was gonna be super cool stuff in it. real life 2-player battle. niantic really dropped the ball on this one
Ngl the game is really fun I mean you’re just thinking it’ll be like pikmin but it was made to be a fun pedometer you’re just hyping it up in your own mind so this is on you getting hopes high
I think a Pikmin game where you explore the real world is an extremely great idea. But I wish bloom was just more... I guess video gamey? Like putting enemies in the game and making decor Pikmin attack differently depending on their cosmetic.
I remember playing the beta version of pikmin Bloom. I played it until it came out, where i played it a bit longer before just deleting it since i didnt have enough data on my phone plan to be playing it all the time. So i mostly used the free internet at the TAFE campus i was at.
they just could've made like Monster Hunter, where you could engage in bulborbs or various enemies through combat and replenish pikmin through an onion that you could set at home (and be changed for some currency to avoid onion location change spam) and each carcass of enemy could maybe go towards your house following a set route as seen in the other niantic games it would already be much more interesting and combat/resource management would be present
Honestly Pikmin bloom is good you dont have to buy things if you don’t want to plus if you get a Pikmin without a decor you can just level it up by feeding it nectar. I think it still has a chance if they add ice pikmin
My guess on why they're still no ice and glow pikmin is the amount of decors they would need to make for them (it's nearly a hundred). That and the permission from Nintendo-san to use them since Niantic doesn't own the franchise
I play Pikmin Bloom sometimes, and there's a simple subtle joy to it. But I think it needs more core gameplay features. Only problem being, how do they give it more Pikmin-like features without making it a game to feed screen addictions (à la Pokémon GO) or overwhelming its mostly casual fanbase with tons of stuff?
There's a feature you can enable that lets you set a specific home area that won't have flowers planted in it when you walk there The only disadvantage to this is that it means you also can't plant flowers near your house
Without A Powerful Phone that lasts for One Whole Day on Power, or one AR Glasses that lasts One Whole Day on Power, our smartphones are rendered useless!
I like pikmin bloom as a more casual pokemon go. I dont feel like im missing out on much due to not having phone service. since there isnt as much stuff you gotta directly walk to. And i really like that you see exactly how many steps your phone managed to register. And the little daily log to note whatever cool or uncool stuff that happened. I really wish getting enough coins for things was more feasable as a free player. Youd have to plant thousands of flowers in one sitting for weeks in order to get enough for anything. Id be really sad if the game shuts down. Its not the greatest game but i still enjoy it.
My biggest issue with the game is that I literally can’t level up. I have been level 2 for two weeks now because I can’t get 500 steps. I have 8000 counted with my first pikmin. I have tried absolutely everything and it just won’t work. I wish it would because I want to play the game so bad but it just feels useless.
I really hope they try to add new features based on 4, since that game has a few potential things that could make it more fun, like i dunno, night expeditions!

when pikmin 4 released, they added spaceship decors but didn't add ice and glow pikmin and still to this day they still haven't added them yet... nowadays I log in once in a while or when i'm travelling
ummm but have you seen the latest cheese-themed event???
As someone who recently got back into pikmin bloom i can agree with the monetization its really annoying but other than that i love the game and it gives me a reason to touch grass. Also the game isn't just getting flowers they are adding events and new decor pikmin like all of the time shaking my head smh.
maybe pikmin bloom could add some sort of enemy that flies around mushrooms like a snitchbug or something, that could be neat
Its not going to shut down it's still actively getting updates
I travel between the US and Mexico often, so it’s fun sending out my Pikmin to get an object that takes weeks just cause it’s back home.
4:05 He's here because he heard the word "Pedometer" and thought it was about testing one's love for kids and not steps.
Nintendo was feeding Pikmin fans this decade by giving them the appetizer of Pikmin Bloom, the entre of Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and the main course of Pikmin 4
I'm a truck driver. I always have pikmin at least 1000miles away
I remembered when this came out but when I played it, you know
My purple Pikmin having to walk to North Korea to get a sticker
The ending is out of context and I love it
I never picked up Bloom for the same reason I couldn't get into GO: I live in a rural area lol.
The nearest city is a two-hour drive from my house. Even if I drive 15 minutes to open the Pokemon GO app in town, I've never seen more than 3 or 4 Pokemon spawn at a time (And they're always several blocks from each other)
I would love to play Bloom, and I would love to play Go, but it's just straight-up not an option for me. It really sucks when tech companies forget that farmers exist :\
If you want to collect the maximum amount of goodies you have to constantly have your app open or if you want to plant flowers
Tbh, the game was really cool and fun at first, but when I unlocked everything I just got bored with it
I have played bloom since it came out, and have played it every day. The game is extremely enjoyable, and I don't think it's going to close any time soon. I don't understand why it gets so much hate.
(heavily dislike that so many of things points in the video are literally just your opinion and not fact whatsoever)
pikmin bloom to me is way more captivating than Pokémon go ever was. and the community for it is HUGE, it’s fantastic
When i heard about the game i thought it was going to be like Pokemon Go and have you walk to “caves” to send pikmin in and conquer them.
And randomly find treasure or hostiles to fight or collect
honestly I really liked the game and wanna get back into it when I have a phone that doesn't have complete garbage battery life. the thing that really got me was that it like never asked me to pay with microtransactions directly, and none of the seasonal stuff seems to be purely time gated or have real folo cause I can just get it next year, a good option given how much rng the seasonal decor pikmin had, I never got too far into the gameplay loop though so its possible that it gets worse like you said
I do wish it had more going for it, or they'd update more of the gameplay, it has a lot more potental and ideas that could make it actually feel like a pikmin game and not a pikmin themed fitness app
The self-restraint in not calling Pikmin Bloom lost media
Pikmin tour :go run Is the next next step for mobile pikmin.
9:05 To be continued... Next Episode: Getting eletrified!
I once made a red pikmin walk across the pacific ocean for 300 days to get me a yellow planter
I’ve never played pikmin bloom but I choice the blue pikmin with the Mario hat as my profile picture And I’ve using it for 2 years so I’ve got that to thank it for
perfection
mario kart on the GPS that encourages you to speed
I made my hair pink and I gave my Mii a really cute cat face like :3
I’m still getting adds for this game
As you've said, there is not much to do in the app, but sitting together and compare the Pikmion you've already got is actually quite nice.
In addition it's the first game that showed me that I actually have a ramen store in my town and thats awesome!
Its now 8 months on since release of this video. The only thing they've added are tones of decore pikmin and zero free storage upgrades. I'm stuck and cant get more space and coins are slow to acquire...why cant i fight enemies???
pikmin bloom is not bad because it's not like pikmin. pikmin fans can learn to enjoy nature and exercise with pikmin iconography
I play pikmin bloom and I’m forever confused on why they didn’t add treasures. The collectable aspect was already there in the main lines. I’m not complaining about the cute decor pikmin, tho.
i havent commented in a while but ive been sure to catch every video as it comes out! i seriously love your videos!!
Thanks!
but dude.... pikmin is WHOLESOME.... we cant bring any of the console game elements into the mobile app to create a unique and entertaining experience because pikmin is WHOLESOME............
i remember hyping myself up when it was announced because i thought there was gonna be super cool stuff in it. real life 2-player battle. niantic really dropped the ball on this one
All I remember from Pikmin Bloom is that I couldn't get it on my phone but I could get Pokemon GO because screw me I guess
they just could've made like Monster Hunter, where you could engage in bulborbs or various enemies through combat and replenish pikmin through an onion that you could set at home (and be changed for some currency to avoid onion location change spam)
and each carcass of enemy could maybe go towards your house following a set route as seen in the other niantic games
it would already be much more interesting and combat/resource management would be present
This video perfectly articulates why I had zero interest in Pikmin Bloom.
noooo don't die please I just downloaded Pikmin Bloom yesterday
Pikmin doom is bloomed…..wait wha-
I expected it would be Pokémon Go but with pikman
When you get into the game and realize its already dead😢
"it's not that bad" "Doomed"
Thanks dude
- a casual player who gives away his Mi Band cause of this game
That ending killed me lmao
Honestly Pikmin bloom is good you dont have to buy things if you don’t want to plus if you get a Pikmin without a decor you can just level it up by feeding it nectar. I think it still has a chance if they add ice pikmin
My guess on why they're still no ice and glow pikmin is the amount of decors they would need to make for them (it's nearly a hundred).
That and the permission from Nintendo-san to use them since Niantic doesn't own the franchise
@@JNPG-ld3gl yea I know they don’t own it and I’m supirsed they haven’t asked yet
Instead of Pikmin bloom, they should have made street pass a mobile app
I play Pikmin Bloom sometimes, and there's a simple subtle joy to it. But I think it needs more core gameplay features. Only problem being, how do they give it more Pikmin-like features without making it a game to feed screen addictions (à la Pokémon GO) or overwhelming its mostly casual fanbase with tons of stuff?
They have to add bulborbs soon
I played Pikmin Bloom for 2 weeks when it came out. I did not like that the flower feature could lead a trail back to my house. So I uninstalled.
There's a feature you can enable that lets you set a specific home area that won't have flowers planted in it when you walk there
The only disadvantage to this is that it means you also can't plant flowers near your house
Without A Powerful Phone that lasts for One Whole Day on Power, or one AR Glasses that lasts One Whole Day on Power, our smartphones are rendered useless!
I am talking about Rugged Flagship Phones with 10Kmah and Smart AR Glasses within the United States via Retail Stores!
Why has Apple not made the iFlip Phones yet?
They need to put Pikmin Bloom on a long lasting AR Android Glasses to solve this problem!
UIGFP stop giving me bad memories :( I need therapy a pikmin themed therapy.
IOHFP*
I generally like the relaxed feeling of Bloom. Pokémon go can get too frustrating and addictive
MALTINI
All of my pikmin in pikmin bloom died because i left them in the oven
I JUST SAW THAT VICTINI CREEPYPASTA WHAT THE HELL WHY IS IT AT THE END
More like pikmin DOOM huh
I want to know when we will get the ice and glow pikmin
Pikmin 1 and 2 and Pikmin 3
I'd love to play but it's not available on my device
4:10 what song is that playing in the background?
ruclips.net/video/enjV3AR5Wag/видео.html
this video is coco puffs
I really hope they try to add new features based on 4, since that game has a few potential things that could make it more fun, like i dunno, night expeditions!
