I love thrift hauls but you really took it to another level with this Angelina - thrifting in an amazing thrift shop, styling all the pieces, letting us in on your thought process when styling /upcycling , and seeing the finished upcycled looks all in the one video ! A lot of work ! Thank you so much really enjoyed this.
LOVE watching you do your thing! You are so fierce and so beautiful! This was a great video - it really helps me to see how you shop, what you look for, what you choose and what you do with it! Thank you for being you and sharing yourself with us!
New subscriber now. You inspire me and I think I've been looking for someone like you for awhile. A fellow thrifter, I'm teaching myself to sew because for some reason, I find it easier to alter something than make it from scratch. You have really great ideas and our sizes and styles are very similar, so I'll be watching! Thanks!
Yes sis, i like how you did it all. Sometimes we don’t always follow you through to an item that we see in one video to how you upscaled and styled, so seeing it all in one video, yassss. Thnk you.
The thrift store was bomb. You can tell that the owners are creatives. The white one piece you’re wearing is adorable, and so many great finds. I love the perspective of looking beyond your exact size to find fabrics, colors, shapes, and finishes that have a lot of potential.
I love the concept of their thrift store and I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I've been wanting to visit Houston, TX, but now I have even more of a reason to go.
What a fun video! Loved the tour through the BOB thrift store, and I wish those ladies the best of success :D. Hard to pick out a favorite outfit; you did a great job of coming up with outfits, but the linen skirt, cropped top, and those amazing animal print heels - wow! I also loved the vintage t-shirt and nerdy [in a good way] plaid pants; they really look fantastic made into the crossover styled pants. What I also just enjoyed a lot about this video is just hearing you talk through your thought process for each item/outfit, and how you might consider upcycling the pieces. It speaks to your deep creativity and energy, I think. Cheers, and keep staying safe, Angelina :)
Oh yeah, I loved loved loved this video. Wish I could go all the way to that thrift place. That tip on folding the items in the bag was smart. Thank you. I liked all the pieces a lot but the one that caught my eye from the beginning was that vintage lace. Wohoo! The linen pants and the teal sweater is super too and great worn the way you did. Again, thanks for sharing all your ideas, projects and videos with us. Blessings.
I absolutely love the format of this video! Your personal style is one of the reasons I'm a subscriber, so I really enjoyed that you took each thrifted piece and gave it the Angelina treatment! You looked amazing in everything, but I especially love the "cute uniform" look and the Beyoncé pants with the men's shirt. Also, your legs look incredible in those wide-leg jeans! Thank you for always gifting us with amazing content, lovely lady! 💖
Happy to see this, would love to shop there if I were in TX. Love the Jaws tee. Black Lives Matter!!!! Peace!! Also wishing everyone surviving the hurricane and fires best of hugs and support!
I added this thrift store to my thrift store list. Whenever I travel even on international trips I’m always looking for thrift stores. That’s where I find my souvenirs. 😉 I 💕 what you did with the silk robe.
Oh yes i forgot love that back ground music, could you include it. Got me moving in my bed as I’m watching you. Smiling the ladies in Houston was such a joy. Ten thumbs up.
Love your style ideas! Pairing the graphic-T with the pants was EXTRA amazing! Would’ve never thought of that...and LOVE how you altered the pants too ❤️🤗...Loved Exchange To Change thrift shop too!
Omg that express linen skirt! Sooooocute! I love “weird good” adidas pants....unbelievable! Thanks for this fun and inspiring haul! Love you fashion friend!
Love, love, the whole concept. Long time follower . Really really enjoy your videos.watch you and your family including your husband at that time. You truly are a trail blazer both for the young and also us mature women. God has blessed you and open up so many deserving doors. You’re just about there, never give up. Always keep smiling, you do have a beautiful one. God Bless you and your family.
I am so late to the fun in your videos.......first I must say, I am really digging all the beautiful background. It really makes it a chilled expereience.
I really love what you do. I have watched you for a long time. I just subscribed recently. I should have done it from the beginning so many years ago. You do as I believe, giving things, that would be discarded, a new life. You don't just thrift and wear it again -- you reconstruct, renovate, reinvent, invent, modernize, refashion, revive and create. You use clothing like raw materials for an art. You are helping many of us see that there is no limit. You are encouraging people to understand what they like and who they are. I love that you went on to create a community. You are our future. I greatly appreciate you. I do the same with household items, appliances, food, cardboard, furniture as well as clothing. I do what I do to supply my needs. I no longer have the desire to spend the money I have in the past on anything. I believe in creating my own economy. What I do is personal and need based. It's not minimalism or living on the cheap. It's maximizing what I have already or what I need to acquire by thrifting (sometimes for the component parts of something I need), by upcycling, or by using what would be trash as raw materials. I find what you do as interesting, intriguing and entertaining as well as exciting and practical.
Thank you so much!! 💕 Although you've been family for a long time, I'll still say an official welcome to the BlueprintDIY family! 🤗 It sounds like we both share this passion and I hope it continues to inspire and draw more people to reuse and reinvent.
Love this style of video! There were some fantastic looks! I would definitely wear the JAWS shirt with checked crossover pants! I made time Hoodia with zipper that goes from one shoulder. Across the back, and down the other shoulder and i love it!
I loved the Jaws T-hirt with the casual dressy bottom, what a great work from home look, fun, funky, but still slightly polished. You've got great taste!!!
All the pieces and outfits were GREAT! I am in love with the lace vest, I’m definitely adding it to my things to make. Hopefully I can find a lace tablecloth or curtain at the thrift store to make it for spring.
HAIR LOVE!!! love everything you brought and how you styled it all. Can't pass on anything blue of course, but of the two, think my favorite is the shirt. so glad you left it as is for now. I say for now because every thing you thought to restyle it, I found amazing! Love the graphic tee and crossover pants. As I said, love everything. May be weird but I would love to see the snakeskin skirt made into an of the shoulder dress paired with the black men's shirt.
absolutely, positively enjoyed this video. Your channel is a breath of creative fresh air. While I love a good monochrome and I thought the blue on blue would be my favorite, the crossover pants + graphic tee won the day. That linen button skirt however was the stand out single item. And I wish I lived in TX, because Exchange to Change is my vibe! Community, uplifting, people helping people, cosmic good. It makes me boundlessly happy.
Enjoyed your video so much this week. So, just a coupe of suggestions. The snake print would look good as a wrap over skirt and the white lace would look nice with buttons down the front and made into a shift dress. x
LOVE IT! What a Gem of a shop! I wish I could go there but I'm too far away. Your styling is so playful and fresh. I love the format of the hunt, the decision making, the remakes, and the styling. Great Video!
Amazing re-purposed and vintage pieces. The large teal sweater tucked in pants was on point. I was screaming dont crop the blue shirt with v in front then you paired with those jeans on point. Robe I was trying to picture something, but didnt think of that. The mens black shirt I was thinking since I saw you Mens wear video to make it a high low shirt by adding flowing fabric to bottom. You paired with track pants on point. Enjoy seeing all your makes. I was thinking about trying to make it to that shop next time I'm in Texas.
Loved the style ideas. The last linen piece/ organza jacket, I would style it with a white bodysuit vet, skinny legs faux leather pants, short black cropped boots with a smaller front/ Pointe and mid-length heels. To add a bit of drama, a nice medium/ large black belt with a beautiful gold bucket (on a medium to large size) which makes a statement. For winter, a long luxury stylish black coat with great details will up scale it or an off black (not black or grey) cropped jacket with some sort of strong material. A light silk/satin or heavy scarf can be brought in for more colour.
What a thrifting store! Everything's big in the US. I definitely think you should keep the white linnen lace as it is but it would be nice whith some darts at the back to reduse the neckline and create a smaller waist for you.
Great video, I really enjoyed it and feel inspired. Your videos are always fun and good but there was something about this video that I feel extra inspired. Watching you try on and talk about styling. So interesting the impact of styling. When you showed the example with the long lace piece I was brainstorming what else you could do.
The lace vest I would close up with a flashy color zipper into a dress and cut it off into a mini. And either wear an ivory slip dress underneath or a dark turtleneck sweater dress for winter.
When you pulled out the denim cropped top, I immediately thought highwaist half in half out and boom we were on the same wave. The printed skirt might look nice as flared sleeve on a shirt or as bell bottoms/ruffles on capris. I'm not sure if its the right fabric for that, but thats what I saw.
Love the thrift store and the concept about the price. All you can get in the bag for 40.00. Great pieces I love everything you purchase especially the white blouse.
So thrilled that I found YOU! I am a second generation thrifter and embracing my creativity to make the pieces “mine”. Your tutorials inspire me ❤️🔥 I bought a sewing machine from Marketplace ($25)! Excited to start the process! Your videos are amazing 💖 I love everything you are doing here! My first project is a teal men’s shirt….what will it be!? Probably a dress with an added chambray ruffle! We’ll see 🥳
Your so talented. You inspire me! I wanna dress better without the cost so I wanna get into garnet sewing. I do quilts but I’m thinking of sewing or upcycle used clothes. TFS!
The first time I watched the video, I didn't notice the bustier tops in the frames, so bustier top with snakeskin skirt? Love this store. Loved this style of video too.

Thanks so much!! 🤗
That silk robe flip was exactly how I envisioned it in my head.
Yes! I didn't think anyone would get what I was trying to say.
HAIR LOVE!!! love everything you brought and how you styled it all. Can't pass on anything blue of course, but of the two, think my favorite is the shirt. so glad you left it as is for now. Thanks so much!! 😁 Yes, loved the vibe there!
Thanks so much!! 😁
What you did with the robe was amazing👍 my fav piece is the robin nest blue sweater🔥
Thank you!! 😊
U worked that whole bag, i love what u did with each every piece, AWESOME!!!!
Thanks so much!! 😁
What a thrifting store! Everything's big in the US. I definitely think you should keep the white linnen lace as it is but it would be nice whith some darts at the back to reduse the neckline and create a smaller waist for you.

Thanks so much!! 😁
The lace vest I would close up with a flashy color zipper into a dress and cut it off into a mini. And either wear an ivory slip dress underneath or a dark turtleneck sweater dress for winter.
So happy to have heard about you through the T Hall show. You are amazing and inspiring. ❤️😘
Thanks so much!! 😁💕

Thank you! I've got to wait until January to wear that in Houston. 😆
Love the white lace top. It would make a nice dress with something solid underneath.
Thank you!!

Thanks so much!! 😁
The lace cover up thing kinda looks like Victorian drawers but less frilly and more modern
Yes, I agree. 😂 Oddly enough I feel like a 70s barbie doll in it.
It's a teddy. They were extremely popular in the 1920's, and then again in the 1980's.
Thank you for being fabulous! I love your videos
Excellent video! Showing community thrifting -go sisters afro clicking-styling and flipping Love the blue cardigan & linen pants PS those blue sneakers🔥 gotta have it😊
