I’ve done the same thing several times thinking of picking this up and then rereading Eragon instead 😂. I have such nostalgia for that series that I can’t even see the flaws and am always worried this one just won’t live up to that for me. But your video has me encouraged to jump in soon!
I'm with you! I loved Eragon. I had so much fun reading it as a middle schooler. I still have a ton of nostalgia for it! But... also like you I delayed picking up this series. I still haven't read it.
I loved the Eragon books, and I didn't know Paolini had written a new one! I'm definitely going to go buy it now, and I'm going to have to pause your video and come back to it later, since I don't even want to know what the book is about before starting it :D
