His bone scan was clear, so that was good, they did find a few spots outside of his prostate, in the lymph nodes on the CT scan, which the dr said he didn’t know what they were. He said cancer spots are usually round, and these were elongated. They wanted to see him back in 90 days. He’s going for a second opinion. What do you do when a dr doesn’t even know what he’s looking at?? Certainly not wait 90 days if it’s something that needs treatment right away.

As a kid I would watch this video and say "I wanna be like the man in the video, a firefighter" and told my grandpa that, he raised me, so he encouraged me to chase my dream, just months before I lost him I graduated my fire academy and got a job at a station, I'll never forget pulling up with my turnout pants on and grabbing my helmet from my old ford ranger and stepping out only to hug him as he cried saying "you did it, I'm proud of you, now sit down, let's have a beer together." I remember that like it was yesterday, he dropped out in his 7th grade year to work on a farm, and to work a factory job for almost 40 years straight and never was too happy with life, he explained that to me as I got older, I still have my job and love it, I still listen to this song occasionally, this was one of the songs we listened to all the time

The reason why Nickelback got so much hate that has stuck so long is because a lot of their music sounds so similar to each other. They were so popular and played so often on radio that people got sick of hearing them, combine that with the similarity in the songs and people held that feeling in them, and expressed the feeling. Then it was such an outspoken thing to hear someone say Nickelback sucks. Maybe they don't like them, but they absolutely don't suck and don't deserve the reputation or hate they have received. They are decent songs, sure they are samey, but they aren't bad just because they are similar, that is a ridiculous notion. People just got upset.

Nickelback was supposed to be a grunge band fighting against the system or some such bullshit. They never said that, people just labeled them that way.
When they signed with some advertisers, people turned against them and accused them of selling out.
Turns out that EEEEEEEVERY band does now what Nickelback did.
They didn't do anything wrong, they were just ahead of their time.... and smart.
They wanted to secure a good future.
We don't hate on bands now for signing with advertisers.
That's why it all started and it's stupid.
Even dumber is all these people saying:
"Oh yeah I hate them too....."
who haven't got the foggiest clue why.
