I don't understand the hate...both bands had some incredible songs. It didnt matter what genre you listened to we all listened to this as the video portrays. Definitely defined early 2k music..and got just overall relatable! In fact I preferred them over the pop boy bands that were so popular around this time.....

I know that may sound a little harsh, but the amount of tone deaf people I've seen on shows like 'American Idol' - or insert another country - that have no idea that they have no talent, seem astonishing to me. All their friends telling them they are great, but in reality...that couldn't be further from their friends' opinions. Good luck to you with finding a band that has such an enormous amount of lyrically diverse as well as musical talent.

Every time I listen to a Nickelback song, I think "why do they get mocked so much?". They are an awesome musical ensemble, who created hit after hit. I know they've all got the last laugh taking all their money to the bank, and now able to live in the lap of luxury with their earnings -- which doubtless keep on coming in, since their music is used all over the place, and the royalties all go to them. I know that may sound a little harsh, but the amount of tone deaf people I've seen on shows like 'American Idol' - or insert another country - that have no idea that they have no talent, seem astonishing to me. All their friends telling them they are great, but in reality...that couldn't be further from their friends' opinions.
