Blender Beyond Basics #4: Fun with Transformations - Blender Tutorial
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 31 дек 2019
- This Blender video demonstrates how to do transformations between similar objects. Three transformations are demonstrated, an object transforming into a smaller version of itself, the material of an object transforming, and the location of an object transforming. Keyed Physics is used to accomplish this effect. Blender 2.81a was used for this video.

Tutorial very straight forward explaining in detail all of the instructions and what they do. Great job and a happy new year to you!
You, sir, are a genius. I've been looking for a tut on exactly this and you provided one that's clear, simple and straightforward. Thank you!
Thank you for this incredibly useful tutorial!
Awesome stuff. Don't know how you guys come up with all this stuff (so many steps involved), but thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year! Thank you for another wonderful tutorial! It was a nice begin to the year!
Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication to a methodical and clear teaching process. Since blender 2.8 things have change drastically and i wish you could revisit in depth aspects of the software in terms of intuitive approches to : Modeling, textures and materials, lightning (cycles), animation, rendering(cycles)....
This could be the ultimate and most powerful blender tutorials channel on youtube.
I feel like a different version of myself, Mr. Stark
This opened so much new stuff for me in Blender! Thanks, liked and subbed.
Happy New Year thanks for the video and work around look forward to watching your videos always learning something new thanks again
Always interesting and pleasant to listen to. Thank you so much.
This instantly reminded me of an old platformer, awesome game from 1993 called Fury of the Furries. Character transformation and teleportation were done with a similar particle effect.
This is really cool. Thank you for taking the time to teach this.
another very good and useful tutorial, thank you, very good explained . We need more tuts from you especially like your last two tutorials
This is sooo amazing. Thanks for the great tutorial 👍
Amazing video. Good instructions and it was very easy to follow them step by step. No misses at all. Thank you for making and sharing this video.
Best Blender Tut's EVER !
Thank You - Salut !
first video watching in 2020. nice as always. happy new year and do more videos than last year.
BEST BLENDER TUTORIAL THANK YOU SO MUCH
A very cool tutorial! Everything worked out! Now I can transform letters and any other objects in this way. Super!
It works well with tori but with a complex object like a plane I can not make it apart from left to right, do you know why ?
Thank you so much for guiding me through this.
Great job, thanks for your video!
Thank you for doing such a fantastic tutorial video, you'r the Best.
Amazing tutorial, made me excited to work with Blender again and experiment
This was cool I always watch the tutorial first, cause it seems that I always run into issues and not sure how much my computer can handle. I started to make videos myself. I might start working on this one myself to see how far I get. I do have windows 10 newest version and blender 2.81. I should be putting bits and pieces of the video into the comment here tomorrow. thank you
It's Magic! And we love magic! Thank you!
great data! superinspispiring and right to the bones of the question
The video is spectacular, thank you very much, all the best from Portugal 👍👍👍
Thank you! This will fit my project. Well explained and so clear. Bravo!
It works well with tori but with a complex object like a plane I can not make it apart from left to right, do you know why ?
I love this. Thank you.
Excellent! Thank you
Thank you very much for your teaching.
awesome work, thank you
Awesome work!
Amazing!!! Great tutorial! thanks! :D
Great tutorial, thanks
GREAT particles!!!
Sooo awesome. Thanks.
muy bueno!! gracias
Thanks a lot man it was great help❤️
Great tutorial!
Thank you was fun and works perfecty in Blender 3.4 (my donut is see through, making it cooler to look at the particles)
I love you man!!! you are the best teacher in the whole world !!!
I have enjoyed this and your many other tutorials. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow. I am curious about your lighting. My scenes often come out darker and it is hard to find the right balance of balance between lights, the objects, and the world settings. Do you have any advice or tutorials about this topic? Your projects always look great. What is the secret?
Great tutorial really helpful
Happy new year Master :) bowing
welcome back and thanks
You're simply the BEST!
Better than aaaall the rest!

Awesome, subscribed! Keep GOING!
Ufff!!! Muchas gracias!!!!
Awesome tutorial.
i still have a question what if the second mesh has more or less faces than the first one
Happy new year to all
Great Tutorial
Wish you all the best
Happy New Year from Barcelona! :-)
Thank you
Hello Sir. Did you report this bug to the developers?
In my version of rebuilding your animation I had to turn the blend-texture to vertical instead of horizontal to get it work properly. And yes, I applied the rotation to the torus 😉
Finally, thanks for all your tutorials. I really enjoy them a lot. Keep on doing this good work. 👍
I had to do the same. Did you find the same problem?
"Left to right" means negative to positive on the X-axis specifically, apparently.
@@mr.cobalt1668 Do you happen to know if there is a way to control it on the z axis instead? I have an arcade cabinet and i placed the start model underneath the floor of the project and wanted to look as if it was being built up from bottom to top.
Very Nice!!!
thanks! helped a lot;)
Awesome tut, as usual. Shoulda made a 2019 turn into a 2020 though.
That would have been nice
Thats your awesome project for 2021 ? :)
spoke too soon
@@Mads-hl8xj welp im doing that now because I'm bored and have no ideas. Thank you.
Actually other way around might be nicer...
VERY GOOD JOB BRO....
More more more, like this, Please.
I got a problem that praticles are not render as in viewport but you show that it could add _visible object and it solved the problem. You save me a lot. Thanks.
Would you consider making a Hard Surface tutorial using the Hard Ops and Boxcutter add-ons?
Tell us how to make liquid gradients? Thank you for this work!
Amazing totu sir..
10/10! :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR
After I did the tutorial, I tried to change the turbulent force field settings just to play around with variations but can't find the force field settings now. Where are there or do they disappear after setting it up?
Donut: - Mr Stark, I don't feel so good.
Super tutorial! Is it possible to make a transformation from multiple objects into one?
Great thanks! Is it also possible to transform to a slightly altered version of itself with equal amount of vertices and equal topology? (without the fancy particle effect)
My idea is to make a ring (jewellery) in different sizes but with equal meterial thickness and transform in say 10 different sizes by using the animation bar.
super
Thank you! Is there any way to change these particles scale during lifetime?
2020 Good tuto
2nd comment....You are the best. I am running blender on raspberry pi 4, but still, it is fantastic..
*WOW...!*
You explained succesfuly
amazing. can we do this effect with any architecture building uploaded from Autodesk software?
awesomely creative though it seemed true simplicity clarifies beauty
3600 is my favourite number to add a 0 to :D
This is great! Is there a way I can export this to unreal engine for games??
@tutor4u First of all thank you so much for the very helpful tutorial. Second, if I wanted to do more than two objects how do I do it? Can you have another tutorial for that please?
Im huge fan of yours, please make more tutorial please please please.......sir......
this looks like a ben 10 transformation!
thank you for making this tourorial for intermedeate instead of beginners!
That's why he said: "To duplicate an object press Shift D. To move the object press G"
hater
To avoid needing a duplicated Torus_Start particle system, would it work to animate the Alive property of its Explode modifier to make them disappear at the right moment?
You can add a key frame to almost everything there, just click the small white dot on the right of the Alive check box, then move forward one frame in the timeline, then uncheck the
any way you can explain how to fade out particles, I can't get it to work with your method.
Master
I have a question the animation is pretty slow, how can I speed it up? is it because of the frame rate? I mean I set it at 50 or does it have to do with something else when working on the physics of the torus?
Please Make more tutorials
can we make this whole process? if yes then where is the bake option. this process is too slow for me to even judge how it gonna look in rendered Animation
@tutor4u Is there anyway to make the textures on my object transfer to the final product? I have a few images in my object but they dont seem to move along with it.
I tried to follow and it is good but the software give to me only some frames with the particle animation and some not... Any ideas? Grate tut btw...
thank you as always for your educational tuts, could you do me a hug favor, and make a tut on text morphing and animation? lets say A morph into B and so on? my intention is to create an alphabetic animation for my son for our native alphabets.
Thank you a ton!
For me there is a weird shadow on the object when rendering. Any tips to help?
How can I know the direction from left to right for an object, 'cause it depends on the way you see it ?
