I love the pattern. I love how clearly you explain it all but the music was very distracting. Please you don't need the music. You have a very lovely voice and I so love your accent. You don't need the music.
Agree, I don't like music in crochet tutorials either, so distracting and irritating.
I love the design and that it's a 2 row repeat, not too complex as I haven't done any crochet for 40 years! I did find the music very irritating, but that's the only negative, you have a calm, clear way of explaining what you are doing and I look forward to trying out this pattern.

You are a very good teacher, Lexie. I so appreciate that you show what you are doing rather than just stating it, as some do. Also you are very good at saying the names of stitches for both British & American stitchers. And you always say it just before I panic because I think I’m doing the wrong stitch! LOL.
Sadly, I admit to finding this particular music very annoying. It’s just too monotonous. But I haven’t let it stop me!

Love this so much, it is getting added to my favorites. I am using Lang Jawoll Magic Degrade, color is # 6871--colors are orange, green, avacado blues, reds. It is making up gorgeous. If you want a gorgeous straight boarder on the wings of the Shawl I recommend ending on a v stitch row not a shell row it gives the Shawl a Gorgeous straight edged boarder! 🧶❤️💛💚💜😊😉😎

I also found the background music very distracting it's very difficult to concentrate on your stitches when you're first learning is there any way to remove the background music?
I just started crocheting this year, let's just say I'm not a young dog :). You did not elaborate on how to finish the piece. Do you put a border on the straight edge? How do you make the shawl come to a point like a triangle? I see this is 2 years old do you have another tutorial that describes the finishing touches?

It’s so pretty! One skein of the yarn is 1000m. I was wondering how big of a shawl that was able to be made with that much yarn. I unfortunately only have 750m of yard but I was hoping to be able to make at least an adult sized shawl even if it is a bit small.

Beautiful pattern but the background music was so distracting I could not follow this!
The pattern is beautiful and your instructions are very easy to follow, but that music has just got to go. I am not even sure why you have it in the background as it detracts from paying complete attention to what you are saying.
