- After building the transmission for this 2013 Dodge Journey it had a problem. When you put it in drive the engine would die because the torque converter clutch was staying engaged causing the engine to stall. Changing the solenoid pack is one of the easiest fixes and we had one so I tried it. Watch the video to see if it fixed the problem. Thanks for watchin sub for more.
Could this work on a 2018 Dodge Journey? I just replaced my transmission filter, oil, gasket with 5.5 quarts of atf+4 valvoline oil and it's still showing a P0765 engine code. Idk if i need to just check my fluid level and drain some out if I overfilled or just replace my transmission solenoid pack itself.. theres no videos online for a 2018 Dodge Journey.
It could be similar, but I don’t know what that code stands for so I can’t tell you for sure. I’m not sure if they’re the same tranny even it’s probably not.
So what had the car stalling an what was the fix?
Torque converter was stuck on. I’m not sure what the fix is. I imagine we rebuilt the transmission if I didn’t mention it in the video.
If that didn't fix the problem why did you replace it?
It was easier than taking the transmission back out
Transmission control selenoid actual part name which is the part the makes the gears shift not the shifting selenoid part in Transmission next to filter no no as all secret I'll give for now
