Nothing against G-Shocks or smart watches they all have their place, but to me this is the ultimate daily driver. Accurate, comfortable, all the features I need and in the dull grey titanium very subtle. The only time mine has left my wrist over the last three years is when I put on my dress watch.
I would love to add one of these into my collection at some point as my primary outdoors/hiking watch. If you can get it at a good price it retails decent value and has to be out of the coolest quartz watches out there. Right now I only have automatics
15 seconds a year? That's Grand Sekko territory, good piece of kit. Have to tip the hat to Breitling for putting in the time to build a serious quartz timepiece
@@styx4947 yeah that’s the one thing that kinda stops me from getting something like this. Otherwise it’s really cool. One of the only quartz I have considered is that timex q because you can just flip up the battery cover and do it yourself in like 5 mins for 5$
Truly one of the best watches- love how different all Breitling watches area- The bracelet is due for a seriously better clasp- and somehow this design is slightly dated- its due for an overhaul- love the functions
Tim, Jon Callahan found me a 2011 Chronospace, which is similar but more robust in features, on a flat milanese bracelet. Love this watch. One of my favorites!!
I have a Fortis Pilot, Omega Speedmaster 9300, 3861 and this one. 6 seconds a year. Very light, scratches not that easily. Adjusting is a bit complicated. In the times of smartwatches and iPhones, yeah they are ancient but so is a Rolex Yachtmaster and any other watch.
Breitling should design an easy-swap battery for this model rather than sending it for servicing when the battery dies. Or, make this solar-powered. C'mon Breitling - contact me for more ideas.
Did Tim always do that thing were he slides his finger on the side of the watch? Also those hands need moisturizer. They’re distracting from the watch. For the record I am pro upside-down sunglasses.
Quartz watches definitely sent for everybody but this watch wouldn’t be able to exist without it. One of the only quartz watches I’d probably want to add to my own collection and as a hiking/outdoors watch
It's like you would rather have a petrol Nissan than an electric Rolls-Royce. A quartz watch is a watch, same as an electric car is still a car. Sorry to be blunt, but quartz watches are part of the horology world weather you like it or not.

Breitling SuperQuartz have accuracy +-10s per year,
Grand Seiko cal.9F also +-10s ,
Longines V.H.P. +-5s per year all thermocompazed watches.
Discontinued? It's still available on the website. Also lug width is 22mm, not 20.
This watch is not discontinued. I just bought one a few weeks ago directly from Breitling. There has been a worldwide shortage of computer components.
My uncle just gave me this watch as an insane gift for joining the army and I really hope it's gonna hold
Im sure it will make a fine companion for your military career, best of luck.

Pretty impressive. My own grip about it being a quartz would be can I replace it anywhere or do I have to send it in.
@@WatchUnwind Good question, very good. I didn't think of that. If I had to take a wild bet, you probably have to send it.

@@WatchUnwind I wish you could do that with some mechanicals.lol A lot cheaper than some of the service bills. Thanks for the response

That's a real field watch!
Would love to get one of these to run around Alaska with

This one's on my list and you know who sold it to me? Josh Thanos that's who, always love that watch.
The best video of this watch, and i really love your style, you have earned a sub
Super helpful review, thank you! Especially, about this piece being a life time and chronometer certified!
Repetition those minutes baby, I love Breitling!
The perfect daily piece
Does the digital display really look so dim in broad daylight?
Discontinued?
the bad guy watch from BROKEN AAROW

can you use the crown under water with this one? :)
I don’t think that’s recommended on any watch
😍😍 🔥🔥

So dim

Although it serves a specific purpose, i feel literally nothing when i see or heard the Quartz word in a horology world.

So your saying you would rather have a $50 Invicta automatic than this Breitling? Just because the Invicta is an auto?🤔

@@Frame-313 well said that is a very good analogy
When I grow up I want to be just like you. You are very classy, intelligent and wise!!
