I did everything in this video and still couldn't see my printer listed to add it to my Mac. I fought with it all night and what finally made it work was something apple recommended on their forum which is to reboot your network router. Then it appeared on both of our Macs. Just sharing this hoping it might help someone else in the future.
If you did everything and when trying the add printer, it does not show up. Try going to printer menu->preferences->network ->select wired/wireless lan change the value to wireless lan. This fixed the problem for me.
I installed the drivers on my mac pro but the printer does not show up when i click on Add Printer on Systems Preferences. I tried several times but the printer still does not appear. Any tips?

I hate this printer so much. I've had it for over a year but spend more time trying to get it to reconnect and troubleshoot than actually using it. There's always a new issue and can never stay connected to any device for too long. The manual is garbage so please fire whoever came up with the design and instructions. They did NOT think of the user in any sense, and for the love of God please hire a design team for the next one.
