    I bought tree (purple) collard a month ago or so because you kept speaking of it. I have rooted the cuttings successfully and now they're each well over 16" tall!! Finally transplanted them (4) into their own pots 4 days ago. Very exciting!! ALSO, bought lemon verbena and I'm mad I didn't get them before...such a lemony scent, more than my lemon balm even. My point is, thank you Robbie for naming your plants and speaking to how they're growing, the medium, etc. It's really encouraging.

    Yes to the bee video!
    We have wild bees that nest in a huge cedar tree. I didn't think they would because cedar is supposed to repel insects.
    They have been gone last summer and this summer. Sometimes they go and then come back the next year. But with all the weird weather I don't know if they will.

    This year in South Australia I’ve planted lots of different zucchini plants so hopefully I’ll get lots of zucchini, not like last year when I got none😢
    I’ve already got 2 cucumbers with more on the way. I’ve made something similar to your pitcher idea, but it’s bigger and I put it in my garden beds and I just emptied one, it’s chocka block with worms and beautiful black compost. Thank you for all your great ideas, my soil is full of worms, rich and black😊

    Your gardens are beautiful! I have been waiting for garden tour 😊. I am glad you found your hummingbird plant, and I am glad you didn't cut that out of the video. We brought our vermillionaire in the house, hoping to keep it alive. I did 10 cuttings during the summer, and 8 took root, and we brought them in too 😊. The freeze this week took all my garden except for my collards. It's cold here, but I have been getting ready for next spring. I try to keep my post short, but they end long 😂😂. One more thing lol, I used to have a goldfish pond, but the raccoons kept getting the goldfish, so I stopped putting fish in it. When I moved, I left the pond there. Thank you for the garden 😊❤❤😊

    My milkweed is INFESTED with oleander aphids (bright orange/yellow with black legs)!!! I tried everything to get rid of them-even bought ladybugs knowing they wouldn't stay (most stayed a week and some are atill there after 2 weeks)- but I'm thinking of pulling it. They are pretty small and werent doing the best anyway.

    That was a great garden tour ❣️ all of your gardens are growing so well 😃 I didn't know that the papalo is a herb...
    Some times when I water my plants I see feathers on my plants....maybe birds are coming in the night ?🤔
    It's still hot here...in the mornings we have a little humidity but during the day it's hot. I remember other years when we had heat until Christmas. This helps my tomatoes. I even have cucumbers...slower growing but still coming out. My lettuces are still not growing properly. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I planted some more of my own seeds from last year. I hope I can make it this time! I also put my peppers in a corner protected from the cold, wind and rain.Should I cut them like some do? Or should I leave them as they are with their leaves? This year I did what your daughter, Debbie suggested❤. I didn't put them in a spot where it gets full sun, but only a few hours in the morning. They did great!!! I still harvest peppers almost every day! So this is how I will grow them from now on. I have a pepper plant that produces orange sweet little peppers! It is very productive and tasty. I have lost their card and I don't know what variety it is. I want to save seeds to plant next summer to see if it is an hybrid.... This year I also planted red kale that I didn't have last year. I put them in soups. Love them❣️ I bought sweet potatoes from the farmer's market. Should I leave some of them to sprout? Will that work 🤔?
    Everything is great here my sweet friend 💖 We are doing great me and my friend. He is a hard working man and he respects me and my son, Michail ❤ We are going together at the church and he loves my gardens 🤣🤪 He has never seen a balcony full of vegetables before 😅 but he likes it 😄 He finds it difficult to lay out the clothes, so I have told him that I will lay them out myself. He is two meters tall and I am shorter and petite🤣🤣🤣 that's so funny😅 I told him that YOU are the reason that my balconies are full of food and I saw him your channel and he said that you are such a clever lady . He likes that you are a real gardener and not like some others that are showing of products to buy etc...and I soooo agree with him❤ you are a real and awesome gardener ❣️
    Oh that caterpillar was intersting to sse what kind it is.... I've never seen such one too 🤔 so ungly😬😱
    I hope you are all doing well my sweet friend 🙏💕 I love your energy and the way you are managing everything so well 💖 Please stay safe and give sweet kisses to princess Zoe ❣️❣️❣️

      It may be too hot for the lettuce right now. Look a few different info about lettuce growing in your area. I was surprised when I found out some herb and vega grow better in cooler weather 😅 Good luck 🤞

    • @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy
      @RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy  8 месяцев назад +1

      I don’t think you’ll have birds there at night, it would have to be an old or something like that. But he could be birds coming at the crack of dawn, and that is possible before you even see them. If your pepper plant looks really good, I would leave it alone and see if it will still produce flowers and fruit. But if it looks poor, then I would trim it back. If you’re still warm, try to keep your lettuce out of the sun. All the lettuce I’m growing here right now only gets about an hour of sunlight. The lettuce that was in the sun even though we’re cooler than summer won’t grow. We’re still too warm. You could try growing half of the sweet potato, you know the old fashion way tooth picks with a cup of water. I don’t know if they’ve treated them but you wouldn’t have really too much to lose. Might be worth a try.
      My sweet potato has taken off. It is so big now the plant.

      Your new friend, he sounds like a keeper. And he’s a smart guy saying what he said about me.🤣🤣🤣 i’m sure he knows your balcony not only saves you money for groceries, but it’s much healthier too. Offhand I can’t remember the name of that caterpillar on the apple tree, but I don’t see any more, and I’ve never seen anything like it before. It’s some sort of moth but boy didn’t eat up that tree. I’m so glad he fits in so well with you and your son, and even like some of your interest to. That is so good. We are fine, just so busy this week. Thank goodness Gary’s got a video coming out tomorrow. Give me a break. I actually want to work more in the garden. I’ve got so many ideas. I can’t wait to get into it. I will give Zoe a hug from you, glad to hear everything’s going good with you, and everything’s going good here too. Thank you so much and again thank you for the Super Thanks.
