Thanks for making this series, I'm enjoying and learning from it. One small point on this one: shouldn't the avionics remain off until after engine starr? It looks like this doesn't matter in the X-plane 11 172, but it might in other versions that simulate engine damage, and it would matter in a real airplane.
You are right, Road Surfer. If the avionics are on prior to engine start serious and expensive damage to your avionics could occur as a result of an electrical surge. Conversely, they should be turned off prior to engine shutdown.
No, any tutorial I find someone knows how to turn on COCKPIT PANEL LIGHT or other lights on Key Bord command. Can you find out how to do that? So Appreciate.
Thanks for the video, very helpful. But when I hold the Right mouse down and pull it "left, the panel moves right and pushing my mouse in an upward motion the panel drops down, opposite of the natural tendency I have, when I go to grab something. Is there a way to reverse that action?
Lots of incorrect thing (everything) u shouldn’t start the engine with avionics on, the fuel pump should be on only to prime the engine and not all the time, the mixture should be leaned when starting up and when it comes alive u need to rich in a 172SP and many many many more things
Darija Veselinović the point of a tutorial is to learn how to do something correctly. Starting a 172 is not rocket science and shouldn’t be that hard to do correctly. Since it’s a default 172 it will start regardless of what you do with it but it doesn’t mean you should do things right.
Best beginner tutorial EVER for a rookie like myself. I love how you explain everything! I just had to subscribe! Thanks so much!
many thanks Jason! it's very helpful!
This guy actually knows what "Beginner" means :)
Thx dude!
your videos are packed with info, which is good. i have to really pay attention or ill miss something
Avionics turn it on after starting engine.

good lord, i just bought this game and i dont even know how to start the engine or turn on the lights lol. can only get better
Why it flies at 70? Not earlier?
Awesome! One question. Why you need to go through waypoints? Can't you go directly to the destination airport? Why does this waypoints exist?
Mario Ilinca I too have the same question 🤔
So air traffic control know were every aircraft are heading .
1:45 fuck!

Exactly!!
But this is a game! Not for real aircraft

In real airplane this not the way to start C 172.
