Mark Henry is sometimes overlooked on his strength stuff because of wrestling. But also remember Mark hasn’t actively competed in 20-25 years like Matt is talking about.

I think you should make a Patreon post asking your peeps on there to submit their top 5 and the reasons like you did. Not everyone is going to agree with whom they place on their lists. Personally I wouldn’t have one or two of the guys in your list on mine. But these are personal top 5 and every person has different elements to why they choose who they choose.

Eddie Hall should not be on the same conversation as these guys that you talked about. Only won one major competition on WSM. Not saying he is weak or something dumb like that, he forever will be the first human that lift 500 Kg from the floor. But as an athlete? he is not accomplished like the rest of these guys.

Overall a great list but based on performance I would replace Kutcher with Jaroslaw Olech. Olech 17x world champion in two weight classes, Euro champ too many times to count, etc. 800+squat at 165, etc.
Random question for anyone. I've never done a percentage based volume based strength phase. My bench will be starting at 270 3x5 which is 80% then 285 2x3 which is 85% and that will complete my main bench movement. The question is, how long do I stay at those numbers before I increase the weight? Any help would be great as I'm starting next week. Thank you

Obviously you know nothing about the sport. Big Z is the most decorated strongman of all time and widely considered the best ever. Shaw is argued to be best ever but widely considered to be second only to Big Z.
@@ddww992 Ok, it's clear that you don't really follow the sport in depth or even know the stats of each individual guy, Big Z is considered the greatest because of titles and longevity, but Thor surpassed his level as a strongman, as well as Shaw's, this is ubiquitous knowledge in the strongman community, Thor was always more athletic and faster than Shaw but became stronger than him in 2018 and surpassed him in static strength EVERYWHERE. Thor literally became a much superior version of Shaw, and Shaw were about equal in their primes. If you only want to look at numbers and titles then consider that Thor is the only strongman to win 5 major titles in a single year, Big Z wasn't nearly that consistent in his prime, in fact he was most consistent in the mid 00s because it was a weak era.
