Morning, Richy! Good to see you back, mate. Ooh, I love that suspension bridge on the river with all the cables. Impressive engineering. Do you reckon you will go through a flooded area at some time this rainy season like in Phuket last year? Great effort trying to pronounce that temple names. Alphabet soup! Surely the locals have a hard time with that too? That warthog on the rock was very weird. I don't know what that would signify? It is all so different with the cloudy and rainy skies. Great accommodation as always. Enjoy your trip back to Kanchanaburi!
Love your videos Ricky…keep up the good work mate. One little tip for you. If you can separate the key from the key fob, then you can just take the key with you when you go out,and leave the fob running the electric,so you get back to a nice cool room on your return😎
Thanks mate, I usually do that but the vast majority of places now have welded rings around the keys or plastic tie wraps that are impossible to remove. Also they have reading cards now so a bank card won’t work either unfortunately😎👍🏻
good Video Mate, well done for trying those Thai pronunciations, Even the Thais don't bother with the full name of most of these places They just call it 'Wat Suthat''. The Giant Swing was discontinued a while back but there are photos, even some grainy old film, of it in action, rather them than me. You covered some ground in this one!!
Thanks Anthony, I had these vlogs already from Bangkok. I’m currently in bed in Kanchanaburi with Dengue Fever. I’ve had it about 4 days and the doctor said I should be ok within the next few days.
Coloniolised by the French..if you listen to some of the thai language you'll hear some French words being used . Anyway nic3 to see you back rich am still in phitsanulok mate heading home for a few weeks th3n back take care ... gary
I was staying at I think the viengthai hotel for two days thinking what was all the fuss about Kanchan? I saw light and life through that same tunnel or walkway(no not the angel Gabriel) but Khao San proper. Felt like a right knob😮
Thanks Mark, you’ll love it here. I always come on a 30 day free UK visa exemption, when that near’s the end I go to the local immigration office and extend it for another 30 days for 1900 baht which is just over £40. When that ran out I went and toured other neighbouring countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Malaysia. There are 2 and 6 month tourist visa you can apply for from the UK in advance which would be less hassle but I always wanted to travel. I’m not sure how they work but the Thai visa website is very self explanatory.
If I ran a country this would be my motto "Support the country you live in or live in the country you support " where you watching the game Richy ? got my spot just outside the stadium but cant get a ticket for the life of me .
Thanks John, I’m laid up in bed Ill but my friend has brought a firestick round for me to watch it. I can imagine it’ll be a nightmare getting a ticket. Keep your eye out for the touts.
Thanks Jonny, I’m really ill with Dengue Fever atm. These are vlogs I did beforehand. The doctor said I should pull through in a few more days hopefully 💯👍🏻
@@ParkinsonRaw hope you recover fast. Me to I have a blood infection. Had to be cut open. Horrible mate. At the hospital daily to get packing and dressing done 🤦🏻♂️😮. Keep safe 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Richie. Another quality video. I recommend a visit to Jim Thompson's House in Bangkok. Beautiful place and so quiet for being in the centre of Bangkok. It also has old traditional Thai houses. Jim Thompson had such an interesting life. PS: I did put the link to the website but it disappeared along with my original comment.
Hey man, it’s George. How are you? What a beautiful place in Thailand I never knew how beautiful it is. How many years you’ve been in Thailand? I was in the Navy long time ago overseas Europe. I bet you you and me about the same age. Who knows may be next year…. see you later man and have a good day.
Thanks George, Thailand is amazing. I’ve been coming here since 2006 on holidays. This time I come travelling Asia and I’ve been here 12 months now. I have the other countries in my playlists. You have a nice day too mate.
Love it when you try to pronounce the long words so funny. Thats a lovely park well worth a visit. How lucky are you missing all the political broadcasts and the constant false promises we are being told here. Its raining again here at least its warm where you are😊
The locals might be offended if you suggest to them that the buildings are "colonial." They are rather proud of the fact they were never colonised by the usual suspects. They seem to have forgotten the Burmese😊 the fruit was ripe Papaya.
did you go back to blighty ? why so quickly back to LOS ? the "lottelly" dosh goes to the government ,so that's ok . Other gambling doesn't ,so "mai dee,mai die" there is no way you would have got through without paying ,it's Thailand FGS Thai never been colonized ,well not by farrang anyway ,think neighbours may have had a say though at some time

34 celcius!!
I always thought it was degrees celcius Bob but I just say the first word. Thanks
In this park, you may sometimes see monitor lizards swimming.😅🤗🌴🦎🐊
Thank you, i have seen many in Lumpini Park. They are in my Bangkok playlists😎👍🏻🇹🇭👌🏻
The fruit was 'Malagor' or as known in the West as Papaya. * Used for 'Som Tam' before it gets to ripen.
Ahh thanks Seni, I should of known that I’ve had papaya salad a few times.
Love it when you try to pronounce the long words so funny. Thats a lovely park well worth a visit. How lucky are you missing all the political broadcasts and the constant false promises we are being told here. Its raining again here at least its warm where you are😊
Ha there are extremely hard to say June, I never used to watch the media back home it’s all the usual clap trap😊
P.s.
It was in the late 1990's,in my defence.
Wow that’s going back a bit Simon.

Thanks mate, I didn’t think they’d being colonised before. Them buildings just reminded me of the ones in Vietnam.
Not for cleaning water for aironate water oxygen for fish keep bacteria down
Thanks Robert, I assumed as it had a lot of rubbish in the back that was what it was for. That makes sense for the fish.
Are you living off a pension here in Thailand mate ?
No savings mate.
And channel sponsors via buy me a brew and super thanks.
@@ParkinsonRaw fair play mate good luck hope the channel grows to the point where you can live off it

Hey Richy I prefer 'street art,' graffiti is mindless, talentless, random and ugly...
Hi Simon, yes mate the street art is much more authentic.
Good luck gasbagging into your camera while crossing the road here.No future in that.
Haha thanks🤣
Thanks!
Thank you so much Andrew.
