Morning, Richy! Yay, Bangkok! I love watching your journeys here, and I really am envious of your experience and lifestyle. Good idea to be around in low season, too. Why is that gold statue of the ridgeback dog so massive?! It's great you could get into the tent to see the conference for the deaf. They really crammed those street stalls in! Those streets around MBK are so westernised now from the last time I was in Bangkok. I really like the older areas and the street stalls. But are these new places set up for the tourists or the locals? Pizza looked great! 😋
Morning Greg, I’m not sure why the Thai Ridgeback was so large. Beautiful looking dog though in real life, my friends is a lovely dog. I’m the same when it comes to the older area but on camera there isn’t an awful lot to show other than food markets which I’ve already covered. The newer metropolitan areas is unfortunately showing how much Bangkok has moved on to a more westernised living not just for tourists I think. Gordon’s pizza was great and not expensive you’ll pay that for any good ones in Thailand but this was a step above.
Greetings Richy there is a definite spring in your ste now you’re back home in Thailand, Nepal looked Awesome though, won’t be long before your back in your favourite place Kanchanaburi, happy travels 👍👍
Bangkok is the city all SE asian backpacker/travelers go to recharge. It has all the modern conveniences while staying near many distinct destinations. Enjoy your stay.
Hi Richy. Really interesting vlog as always. Sorry about your phone. That blew your daily budget, if not your weekly. "A-nu-jai" I think means 'young at heart'. 'Jai' is heart, and 'a-nu-baan' is kindergarten. Thailand seems to have put a spring in your step, even though you're still labouring. It does the same to me every time. Cheers.
Thank you Barry it is amazing to be back mate, yes ouch my phone took a hit for the stupidest reason but you know mate these things happen. It could be worse I could of lost it like in Vietnam😫

Hi Tony and thanks mate, there are so many places here to stay and I can highly recommend the VN guesthouse which is coming up In today’s vlog. I have done a cost of living including rents in my Kanchanaburi playlist. Where I am now is 350b a night for long stay and it’s amazing right on the river Kwai.

Hi Simon, aww I definitely need to visit Italy I love the food. Yes I have to say it was amazing. The dough was similar but the tomato topping and mozzarella was second to none. Although I do really like bite and chew in Kanchanaburi.
About Taco Bell, it is not genuine Mexican food. Proper Mexican food give you the runs for a month, as I found out when I was in Mexico. I lost 10 pounds in weight. 😅
I used to go around all the Ikeas in the UK repairing the cladding for years, I can’t begin to tell you how much food I ate there in that time for free. This message definitely makes me want to go back and refresh the memories. Thanks Tim.
Love your videos and watch, like, and have bought ya a coffee. Hope to see you in a month when I'm there. Please take no offense at this, but "deaf and dumb" is not a very well received characterization by the Deaf Community. I understand that it's the term people our age grew up hearing. I'm a retired ASL Intereter and know what a rich and wonderful culture they're a part of. Try communicating with them. It's a blast! Although trying to may make ya feel "hearing and dumb". LOL I arrive in BKK 10/30 and if you're in country, I'll try to contact you.
