Also to note: If it works on a K20A2 sandwich style oil cooler, that means it should also work on a L15A7 from a GE8 Fit. I've looked into the part numbers before and a K20A3 and L15A7 have the same part number for the OFH fitting. That means you should be able to fit the sandwich adapter from the K20A/A2 motor onto the L15A7 using the stud from the K20A/A2 to mount it. I believe this is what Spoon did for it's endurance racing Fit. The problem was that the oil filter would be sitting too far forward and would be too close to the fans to change the filter when needed unless you converted to a front mounted slim fan design (after removing the AC condenser). This part you guys made, alleviates that issue as it turns it down and away from the fans allowing for factory radiator fans to be used (maybe even with a thicker aftermarket radiator). Last part to figure out would be water hose routing to plumb the sandwich with. But then you have an oil cooler on a L15A7 without the need for a front mount oil radiator. Great for B-Spec racers trying to use a thin oil (for power) without ruining a bearing due to oil temps and too thin of a viscosity and don't want an external (heavy and fragile) cooler. Or, if you travel long distance using a Fit and still want MPG on a thin 0w-20 without cooking the oil too much. Or or, if you live in a cold climate; the hot oil will bring the coolant up to temperature faster (Hello faster heater...and less engine damage). If I can figure out coolant routing for a sandwich, might pick one up to test my theory. Great part guys!
Have you guys tried a K24Z7 yet? I have a K20 oil pump swap in mine and had to relocate the filter to the K20A position. The kit you guys offer is definitely more appealing than having to build a relocation kit.
I am running one on a K24Z in a rwd application. I had to cut the lip off the stock oil filter mount and slightly file one edge of the Ballade piece to bevel it.

Yes this works on Non-Vtec but like in the video you will need to convert to Gsr oil cooler and water pipe. It needs room away from the block to turn down. You can drill and tap on the black bolt adapter or on the side of the adapter

You need some sort of spacing to clear the block casting. So OEM GSR oil cooler is the best fit. We recently found out TYPE R is a little thinner and doesn't work.

We have not tried on a K24z7. There are so many K variants. We need the public to help us with feedback.

This is a much better on K series since there’s not much room in front of the firewall and there’s header blocking.

Hello, No oil pressure issues. And loosening would only be an issue if the installer failed to tighten, torque and retorque just like any oil filter.

Yes it will fit. You will need the threaded coupler from a Honda block like the K24 that does not have an oil cooler.
