I redefined stress: stress is a situation when brain need more energy. And cortisol will get required energy for the brain.
Brain mainly use sugar (glucose) as energy source. But we can't burn glucose without retinol (pyruvate conversion to Acetyl-CoA requires retinol) so cortisol must get retinol as well.
Normally liver maintains blood retinol level but liver can be blocked by fructose, alcohol, toxins ... when liver can't maintain blood retinol level and cortisol will be increased...
White fat tissues are not energy stores they are collecting retinol from blood and sending back so they increase retinol level in the blood stream but causing retinol deficiency in the organ covered. But white fat tissues are either insulator so the organ doesn't have to waste energy for heating (compensation)... etc etc etc

Same! Kitty was trying to help and dude's just being rude and ignoring her.
Petting a purring kitty is good for reducing stress. 😺

I can not deal with people keeping up conflict! Its not a sign that they are smart. Smart people don't keep conflict going.

Hi.. Thanks for sharing. I say this with love.💕 I was once lean and/or skinny. Don’t laugh. 😊 They use to call me Twiggy Wiggy when I was in high school.
My high school ex-boyfriend would get jokingly teased because I was so skinny. If you are small, medium, large. Stress can effect your brain and body. 💕
