Wow! A thalamic stroke has changed my life not for the good. I cried when I saw your video. You explain in less than 20 minutes what the thalamus is, does, and damage. I have looked at countless videos and literature about my thalamic stroke and can't understand those medical terms. You are amazing! Thank you! 😊
I'm so glad the RUclips algorithm recommended this channel to me. Your videos are so informative and in-depth with really good animation which helps in understanding the concepts being explained. If ever I'll be assigned to a higher grade I'm going to refer my students to this Channel for additional insights
Brilliant explanation! I’m currently studying neuroscience and researching the limbic system. Your video has helped me understand how this works! Thank you
If someone surgically remove their AMYGDALA then what will be happen May be they never fell nhi love with someone and other else related to emotion and also maybe they never gets angry
So naturally while I watch this and come up to the part where you explain the connection of your optic nerve to the thalamus witch in simpler terms basically filters out information that is important enough to retain. While I was watching all of that I had to replay the video 4 different times because my brain naturally drifted off and thought about a different subject but still relating the same context of what's being said. Pretty much playing back and time and place where this has affected me in real life situations. So what does that mean? Is my thalamus naturally filtering out that what I'm viewing is not important enough to retain? (This is common behavior for me though)
My limbic system must be mixed up.. I know it's there because I can feel the results during my training for work but as far as emotions, I do not register those whatsoever.. I'm not talkin about I don't know how to decipher what I'm feeling, I just don't have anything in there to feel.
So is the Autonomic Nervous System a brain "part"? Or a type of function within the brain. I know that the Autonomic Nervous System had two parts: the sympathetic and the parasympathetic. Is the word Limbic simply describing as you have the physical parts and the Autonomic Nervous System something else. Thanks again 👍. Miss Monique 🙂🙏🌷
When I watch a horror movie, do nerve signals from the eye reach the thalamus and then to the amygdala? , or do they reach the amygdala directly from the eye? ignore my mistakes because I'm not that good at English😅
All my senses are on high alert, no doctor I've seen knows what is going on...an ENT said I might have an overactive limbic system but no advice on how to treat, any clues what to do?

This channel is so underrated
I wish there were such channels when I was in school 20 years back. Animation makes it so easy to understand with a good commentary.

Glad you found it useful! 😊
Wow, an amazing explanation! I love that every single step is animated and easy to follow. Amazing work! :)
Never seen someone making study this interesting ❤
Thank you, explanation is just amazing and totally understandable..
Glad it was helpful!
Great video with really good content! Keep going! I’m surprised you haven’t got more subscribers! You will in time! Awesome!
We are glad that you liked our content 🙂
I like your video
part of the brain involved in our behavioural and emotional responses 👍
correct.
Beautifully explained! Thank you so much
Glad it was helpful!
I attended brief session on functioning of brain. Lymbic brain and amygdala were discussed there.
This video is very useful for my semester exam ♥️
Now that was an awesome presentation!!!!
Awesome, now I know what to blame for my insufferable depression and suicidal thoughts
Hey. This is quite interesting. Found this very helpful hey. Was struggling to understand the limbic system but you came to my rescue. Thank you
this is too good 🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks a lot!
Glad you liked it!
@@Scienceabc ❤️❤️❤️
@@Scienceabc Much appreciated.... Thanks. 👍
Agreed.... 👍
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 great information 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you think so!
I'll recommend you also watch Inside out 1 and 2. It's really good to understand the human emotions

Glad you think so!
Thank you for such great and easy explanation of something super complicated 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Good hit again 🤩
Brain is the most complex and the best thing to uncover
Surely we will do achieve it some day
If our hippocampus works better 😁
Man, that random process of evolution sure is crazy! No designer needed!

Very nicely explained 😊
Very nice video, keep it going!
Thanks. Love this explanation
Glad you enjoyed it!
Superb explanation.
But , What is the function of Fornix??
What a video, thank you
you are making amazing videos, why there is such a low response !!
Thanks for the comment Shaiv. Even we wonder about the same. Do share the video with your friends.
Did that, also you make such videos that can be viewed any time(someone might be here in 2031) just keep going...
Great video.
Best!
Very informative
thanks, great video
Really interesting
Great explained.
You are the best 👏👏
Amazing
I quit trying therapy after many years. I'm just going to learn about the brain now.

Wait….. what part of the brain controls emotions like sadness, happiness, fear, anger, surprise and disgust?
Limbic

Reminds me of that old song, "Ya foot bone connected to ya leg bone, ya leg bone connected to ya hip bone, ya hip bone connected to ya back bone,"
It is clear and interesting
wow ty that really help 🙂
How do we regulate Amygdala? I think mine is super sensitive .
What part of the brain do you use for medicationb
Is basal ganglia comes in limbic system or not
Cool.
U r awesome
Nice❤
Inside Out in a nutshell
Why do they say that emotions start in the body then? Like the body up theory?
When I watch a horror movie, do nerve signals from the eye reach the thalamus and then to the amygdala? , or do they reach the amygdala directly from the eye?
ignore my mistakes because I'm not that good at English😅
Pls can u write the references? I need it for my assignment 😢
Hi, the references are there in the video description.
@@Scienceabc thank u 🙏🏻
Cool 😎
The brain is very cool 😎
