Calligraphy with Pencil (Basic strokes & Minuscules a-z)

When you don’t have your nib, holder and ink and desperately need to write a copperplate script, and yet you don’t want to make faux calligraphy…. Pencil is your answer!
Start by making a flat edge of the pencil lead, and then you can make distinctive light and dark strokes by applying pressure and lifting them as you make down and upstrokes respectively.
For calligraphy beginners, pencil is a good tool to use to build your confidence when constructing basic strokes.
