When I made this video, I had a feeling that exact thing would happen to somebody. Crazy enough. It even happened to me, I had to watch my own video to remember how to set it up lol.
yesss after seeing so many negative reviews on amazon about how difficult it was to set i came to yt to find this helpful video🥰 but there’s one thing you left out; after setting your 6 meals, how can you erase them? for example i did the 6 but now i want only 3
Nooo....I would not change the time for daylight savings. Took me a while to realize why my cat was waking me up an hour earlier than usual after the most recent time change. I felt dumb when I realized the cat doesn't know the time changed. If I had one if these, I would just leave the time alone lol
@@georgeanngash9896 I did get one eventually and did not change the time with Time Change. It does eventually get out of sync over time, but I don't mess with it because it is gradual enough that my cat doesn't throw a fit. And that is all I care about. Note: I don't have batteries, it's plugged in
Took me a bit to figure out the portions because I feed my cat 1/4 cup 2xday. 1/4 cup is 0.2 portions. 0.5 is 1/2 cup not exact measurements from this thing but it works
@@BigCVlogs the manufacture said that it may warp, how was your experience? Could you wash even the base? Since it has very little thickness i guessed it may warp even at low temperatures
Yeah I wish I would of fixed that before I posted the video. I have mine on .4 currently each time which is close to half of a cup from my understanding.
@@donnamaupin1197 mine says 1 portion is 10 grams. It doesn’t have anything smaller. I like to give my cat small portion of food throughout the day because she keeps throwing up since she has been overeating with this machine.
@@kaycali4912 One portion is overeating for your cat? You must have a really small cat, or your cat has a really small stomach, or there's something wrong with your cat.
@ No, one portion is not overeating but my cat likes to eat throughout the day, she eats 4 portions a day. My cat is 15 lbs because of this issue. My problem is that it spits the food out ALL at once, instead of small portions throughout the day. That’s how my last dispenser was and my cat was in better shape than right now.
There should be an indentation/lower area in the machine, that spins to the chute, that is what the machine considereds one portion , so this will underfeed or overfeed your cat. Better to buy a better auto feeder that releases by weight
can you provide a diagram or youtube video that shows this lower area? ive been looking for how these machines consider one portion pleaes and thank you
The video helped clear up some of the confusion so thanks a bunch here
Very helpful, man! Thanks!
Thanks. I’ve forgotten how to set it up. I threw away the instructions long ago. And this video helped me and my kitties.

This helped so much!!!!!
THIS HELPED A LOT; THE LONG PRESS ON THE SETTING LOCKED IT!

I think you bring them back around to "zero" and it clears them.
On mine, hitting the plus and minus button simultaneously clears all settings
Bonjour, Merci beaucoup pour c'est une excellente démonstration très bien expliquée👍
Thank you! The “big side small side” helped us put it back together

Anybody know where I can get a replacement bowl including thr plastic part the bowl sits in?
I dont think they sell them online, but if you reached out to Petlibro they might be able to send you one.
Thank you! Question, can it be knocked over by a crazy dog- and the lid pop off?
Not this one. The lid turns when it's put on, so even when knocked over the food won't fall out.
Can you put the washable parts in the dishwasher, even if it is at low temperatura like 40 celcious?
Yes, you can.

Lid is stuck I cant get it open
Can you use it with no WiFi at all?
Yes, this model doesn't have wifi.
Oh my bad I see you say that in the vid! I just bought one with a camera but it absolutely doesn’t work without WiFi unfortunately

Why does mine overflow ?
How do I remove a feeding?
Set the fedder back to zero and it won't have a feeding them.
The middle battery was an effing nightmare to put in, the spring wouldn’t give. Had to pull it back with a string and cram the battery in. Ugh
I had the exact same issue! Seems to be a design flaw lol.
@@BigCVlogs Glad it wasn’t just me!
If a rowdy cat knocks it over, will it still dispense food? My cat is rambunctious
No it would not. I ended up using a belt to tie ours to our table because the dogs knocked it over lol.
@@BigCVlogs is it not heavy at all?
We have 2 cats at 15 lbs each. They cannot knock it over. I’ve watched them try!
You can make it 0.01 portions. I give my cat 4 feedings a day and 0.01 for each feeding. So she’s getting around 1/2 cup or so a day.
Hi, how do you make it 0.01 portions? I can't seem to go below 1 portion and my cat would do better with smaller portions :)
@@johansunesson9971 it’s a pre set selection. I just go through and leave it on the lowest setting and it’s 0.1
@@TeamUmizoomie There's no decimal point. It's not "point zero one", It's just "zero one", or just 1. Good grief.
Buttons can't be pressed on my unit idk
A big Thank You
No app ?
No, this model doesn't have an app. I did one recently from Nooie that has an app though. It works great.
10 portion would actually be almost a cup. Each portion is 1/12 cup
Ahhh ok. Good to know then.
@@BigCVlogs 10 portions are 120ml. I cup is 250 ml.

Learned what? How to eat?
The minimum isn't 10 though
Yeah I wish I would of fixed that before I posted the video. I have mine on .4 currently each time which is close to half of a cup from my understanding.
These are more for dogs, the smallest portion dispenses quiet a lot for a cat.
1 portion is only 2.5 teaspoons. You have to make sure to select 01 if you want 1 one portion.
