My best cuts are usually the result of a spur of the moment, half-assed attitude, rather than overthinking it & being in a perfectionist mindset. Have done Mel's pigtail cut a couple of times, and it's the simplest way to get the weight off the top layers of hair.

As a natural curly redhead, I often do not like some of the red hair dyes people use. Yours, though! I barely took note of the red near the ends while you were cutting, but when you came back with it dry, that color popped so coppery and fiery. Love how the cut came out, and I love the color!
I have bad Memories with Hair Stylists who Cut my Curly Hair..since 5 years i do cut by myself... Unicorn Cut...or Double Union Cut... next time i will try the pigtail Cut...😍❤️👌..Looks so fantastic

I could be wrong I watched Mel's video a few days ago but I'm pretty sure that when she cuts the pigtails she cuts it straight out to the side unlike what you did which was pull them up. But I might be wrong. Your hair still turned out great regardless so... 😅
