Thank for the nice video my friend... here (North Italy) i am for now safe, healty as much as i can with my family and hope the same for you... Keep the good work goin' !
I think it looks far more authentic than most I've seen. The time is late war, esthetics are about the last thing anyone is concerned with. And the whole point of camouflage is to break up an objects outline so that it appears as non-descript as possible. Well good sir you have succeeded in that. I look forward to more.

Nice! Idea for "yellow" theme vehicle: Operation Desert Storm with modern vehicle. You can try out new technics, because of different weather and environment (dust, sand, smoke). And there were a lot of tanks with freshly applied desert pink camo over the usual green-brown-black pattern.
Im still new to the hobby but the one major thing I have learned so far is it’s going to look worse before it looks better. If that makes sense, I might be plain old crazy idk. I am excited to see how it turns out.

I really like your work. This one especially is an interesting one. You talked about doing another yellow tank... Consider a modern tank in the desertt after a nuclear bomb has gone off. Especially in a diorama that'd be interesting, One side scorched, slightly melted, the other side normalish and the sand under the tracks turned to glass...
I ripped the tracks of my tank to paint them separately in panzer gray as I had a can 😂 I still need to do some chipping but I did oil paints first so I might have to go back and reapply oils.

Great video Martin! You were funny, entertaining and the video was quite informative. I use your tips and applications for most of my German armor. Keep up the good work 👌👍
I think it looks really interesting. Maybe try to recreate the photo angles of the vehicle with your model once you are done, and try to apply a black and white effect, will be interesting to see whether you hit the tones right. Also, I actually didn't know that the Germans started painting their tanks olive green at the very end. And then, I too would be building scale models now, if there wasn't a certain virus preventing me from restocking on glue... The shops are now closed and the stuff I wanted to procure has been sold out weeks ago anyways, even before the total lockdown.

Hi thanks for the movie. I like (I love: P) your channel. I have a question wherever I am looking for a video about the welding modeling tool. But I can't find him. May I ask you to send a link? Thanks in advance
Hi mate First of all awsome videos i really love them. Second, could you make a video with a list of basics to make models like that, that is, things like the putty and the chirping liquid, disolvers, etc. Thanks in advantage and keep the tanks rolling :D.
You have to assume that the Green colour was painted as a single overall colour (but without taking off the turret box and the splash guards above the track) and the zimmerit came off later. To me, it would make sense that the Dark yellow base would be pretty dirty and grimy, and would appear darker than the protected area behind the turret box. Whether this is enough o account for the darker tone I can't speculate. I would have expected that the zimmerit damage might take a few months or longer to occur, which suggests to me that an overall green colour is unlikely. Given zimmerit coating ended in Sept 44, is there enough time to May 45 to repaint the tank in a late war green base colour and damage the zimmerit ? The bi-colour green/dark yellow pattern on the barrel could easily be a late 44/early 45 colour scheme from the little I've read. The history would need to be a early 43 ? production model, with field application (?) of zimmerit, which was field painted (in a hurry) with the green base colour and then months of heavy use to damage the zimmerit with removal of the splash guards and turret box in May (?) 45 when a unit priced together Tiger's from recovered war damaged tanks. The dark green base colour wouldn't have been applied (assuming paint was available) until after January 45. Allowing for stock of dark yellow base being used up first, the repaint would need to be ? in Feb/March 45, which doesn't give much time for the zimmerit to be damaged. Given the dark colour is panzer grey rather than red oxide primer, the zimmerit would need to be in good condition in early 45, when the tank was repainted with a green base. On balance, the time sequence suggests it more likely to has a dark yellow base colour, perhaps with a green bi=toned camp scheme. @Night Shift, can you link to the research. I have read some commentary of the Fehrman group tiger colours quite a while ago and I recall a lot opinion was on a green base colour.
Mista Night Shift!! I love your way to moddeling. Can you do a video? with very high detailed and almost destroyed tank? missing parts, armor broke, big hole and wrecks! from almoust every angle., with naked inside elements. Like one breath surviver from mad enemy crossfire. =)
I think you have nailed it this is a tank I have been Researching for a long time and I have to agree with everything .I also a agree that your colors are spot on.i want to copy the same colors. Awesome job m8 I think if it's not a 100% Accurate but it's a good representation of the real thing and that's the most important part is to have fun with this hobby And build and complete your models Don't get hung up on if its accurate we are all going buy a black and white pictures have fun and keep building kits that's what it's all about.
Beautiful work, stunning work! The F13 should be red with white borders though and the tank itself in overall dark grey.... One tank that I want to build, plus a few others, like one numbered 1313! Great video! 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
I had to type this down from my saved files....from a few years back. This is NOT me OR my friend, just in case there's any questions....just saved for my own F13! "The photos of F13 - and other related vehicles at the site near Lüenburg - were taken by an old friend of mine back in midsummer 1945. I made copies from the originals back in 1986 after he discovered them in an old box. It was then that we understood that he had taken photos of some very unique vehicles. I subsequently assisted several researchers who have written about the unit and its exploits. A photo set was forwarded to David Fletcher for their files from which were used in a number of publications. We discussed the vehicles in detail and he informed me that this vehicle was overall dark grey with red numbers outlined in white. He was unequivocal on these points as he stated that this is what drew him to take photos of it and related vehicles. Given that he has been a well respected armour modeller for over 60 years, I accepted his narrative evidence on the vehicles camouflage and markings as valid." Saved a photo of this, but I can't find the forum anymore....🤨🤔
Looks amazing man! Beautiful, but only to an armor junkie lol. Fantastic work as always 👍 Can’t wait to see it completed. Great work on all the research, it really adds life to this unique piece.
I think we should take into account the sensitization of old photo films, which was different from modern digital devices. Sensitivity to different colors was non-linear. In addition, a yellow or orange filter was often used for outdoor shooting. Because of this, the rather dark red color in the photo could become quite light gray. This is just for general information. Sorry, if something is not clear, I use Google translator.
As for the base being panzer grey I would think that because these are kind of famous tigers that it can be figured out when it was manufactured. I am no expert, but I saw that it is becoming fact that only 25ish tigers were painted grey. It seems that many of the pre 43 order to change to dunkelgelb were painted in tropical schemes. Maybe why it seems darker in the undercoat it that it has the green tones from the tropical pattern. Anyway this is a visually striking tiger, and none are ugly. Well done!
Hope y'all safe and healthy and building models!

Second, could you make a video with a list of basics to make models like that, that is, things like the putty and the chirping liquid, disolvers, etc.
Thanks in advantage and keep the tanks rolling :D.
Man I love how this is coming along!
Honestly I love the weirdness. It draws attention to the details
wouldn’t the olive green have been painted after some of the zimmerit had already chipped?
I love how it looks!!!, It’s so unusual and it’s awesome!
That's a nice video you made on building some real nice Tiger 1 tank you have there good job
Maybe add some of the grey to the roof of the tiger turret and hull where like shells flew higher than expected or from rain damage etc.. :)
Mista Night Shift!! I love your way to moddeling. Can you do a video? with very high detailed and almost destroyed tank? missing parts, armor broke, big hole and wrecks! from almoust every angle., with naked inside elements. Like one breath surviver from mad enemy crossfire. =)
Can't wait to see how it will look like when it's finished.
Really a great and complex project and I'm waiting the next step !
Looks spot on so far
I think you have nailed it this is a tank I have been Researching for a long time and I have to agree with everything .I also a agree that your colors are spot on.i want to copy the same colors. Awesome job m8 I think if it's not a 100% Accurate but it's a good representation of the real thing and that's the most important part is to have fun with this hobby And build and complete your models Don't get hung up on if its accurate we are all going buy a black and white pictures have fun and keep building kits that's what it's all about.
oh yeah! the painting stage is the best part. and hope you're safe from harm.
well at least you're occupied with making models so win win
Given that he has been a well respected armour modeller for over 60 years, I accepted his narrative evidence on the vehicles camouflage and markings as valid."
Saved a photo of this, but I can't find the forum anymore....🤨🤔
I actually think it looks great! I imagine not many people have done this particular Tiger before! Very unique!
Looks amazing man! Beautiful, but only to an armor junkie lol. Fantastic work as always 👍 Can’t wait to see it completed. Great work on all the research, it really adds life to this unique piece.
I think that it looks cool almost like it was made by Frankenstein
Well done!
