      @@wickerman7689 Like fidinboca... I'm on TWO now but both were amicable partings and we civily split stuff up, And all of my hobby stuff was mine before I married them so... no worries there!
      And I'm actually still Friends with both. The Second one we share Grand Kids, and we just... moved apart. We are actually BETTER "FRIENDS" now then when we were together! So it's all good. I lucked out that way! :D
      And my Second "Ex" knows and is friends with my current girlfriend... so that's good too, :D

    I actually really dig this paint scheme, it tells a story. Like, this isn't a spanking new machine, it's later in the war and the vehicle has seen combat and been pieced together with whatever was at hand. It's going to be a really interesting piece when it's done, looking forward to seeing the upcoming steps!

    I think, the fact that you are basing so much of the way you paint this Tiger on the thoughts about its (potential) history and the things that it has been through, gives it a lot of character, and that alone makes it exceptionally beautiful. I'm looking forward to see what else will come :)

    I really enjoy watching your videos with my 14 year old son. He actually puts down the video games to watch. He is a little disappointed that his models don't look as good as yours. I tell him you have had more practice, and his will get better with practice as well.

    Since 2006 i own a Computer and watched a lot of modelling tutorials, i repeat i watched a lot....but Martin youre the best tutorial maker ever, youre steps looks so easy to copy and i already did it to my MENG Jagdpanther with a great result, thank you for teach us, help us and make our hobby more fascinated.     The scheme looks great. I did a similar scheme on a Hummel (15mm scale) a few years ago. Based on same idea, grey vehicle over painted in yellow.

    You have a superior eye for catching this, subtle command of these colors.....I see where you are going with the Panzer Grey....and so subtle tonal changes in the armor yellow as well.

    Still with you brother.
    I like the way it's going too. It's *supposed* to look strange considering everything it's been through what with the (probably) poorly-applied and damaged zimmerit, field repainting and parts replacements probably from different donor tanks and factories at different times. It's amazing it even still looks like a Tiger instead of a chimera.

    I always apply a light wash on (or in) Zimmerit, make it looks like dust that have settled in those crevasses, as it certainly would. Keep on, can’t wait to see the final result!!! 😎

    Great work as usual, coincidentally, Tiger F13 has just appeared in the book I’m reading (An eclipse without a future - Ulrich Saft). Interesting to read a little more info on such an unusual tank.

    Martin, I try to turn everyone on to VMS products - they work really well. They freak me out because it's weird, but I've been surprised everytime. Their photo etch CA glues are my mainstay, the decal solution is super hot and melts decals great. Clean slate remover was like magic. I haven't used everything, just what I have troubles with (photo etch). I think Uschi Vanderosten has a solution that is supposed to cut down on the dry time for oils, but I think it's just a medium that's available to artists called Liquin. I use Liquin for my oils.

    Looks very good. And it is one of my favourite ways in modelling - making non standard vehicles, like less known versions or variants of famous tanks or planes, non typical things, and so on - exactly like in case of that Tiger. Good done! ;) All the best for You! Beware of coronavirus! ;)

    I am probably wrong, since you tend to be very thorough with your research, but somehow I feel there should be more difference between yellow and green, and grey should be way less saturated because dust and sun tend to to do that.
    As an idea, you can make a black and white photo of your model and compare it to the original ones to determine if your colour saturation is on point.

    damn and I was following up really well with this kit building a panther, and then everything went to hell with the tracks. Really love what you did though with those oils, it really is a cheat where, the more you work with them you just make it better
